I want an STi hood scoop and spolier..but where??
Well i figured I would save at least $10,000 by getting my 02 wrx instead of an 05-06 STi which obviously bummed me out cuz I dream about the STi everynight...so i figured why not make my 02 an STi! I have been looking all over for an STi spoiler...Ebay has OEM's for around $299 PLUS $90 shipping and then I still need to get it painted...for that price I might as well go to a dealer. Anyone know of a good place to get OEM STi spoiler?? Not sure if i trust the replicas but if someone has a replica and loves it let me know.
Also I really want the MASSIVE hood scoop on the 04+ WRX's and STi's I havent been able to find those anywhere. I saw one for my 02 and it was CF and was needless to say extremely bad ass. Can someone help point me in the right direction to find this stuff?

They have replica 04/05 scoops that will fit an 02. As for the spoiler, look around your local chapter and see if anyone is willing to swap trunks. |

I'd recommend a trunk swap as well if you can arrange it. It's the easiest.
There are lots of people who have bought the bolt-on replica wing and are happy with it....one of the reasons I've had so much trouble selling my OEM STi wing....the replicas are so much less expensive and don't require a new trunk lid. -Michael |

Yep - where do you live and what color is your car? There are usually tons of STi's that want to get the small wing or no wing.

I think making an 02-03 WRX look like a JDM bugeye STi is ok since it was never offered in the US. Just look at Bumblebee's car.
I'd go with a bugeye STi scoop, edm headlights, STi fog covers, and painted skirts. Forget about the wing, it looks ghey my 2 cents |

^ Thats the look I really want. (Sorry i LOVE the spoiler)
Would i have avoided getting flamed if i just said "I am looking for a bugeye scoop, sti foglight cover and a sti spoiler" as apposed to: "I want my wrx to look like an STi" (which is infact the same thing) |

But poke around, I'm sure you'll find things for sale (I've picked up several things via these boards) -- I know that in the NE regional forum, we have a "Trunk Swap Thread." Of course, that doesn't really apply to me. |

The original poster's question has been answered.
The "STi poser" BS has been covered in hundreds of threads already. Let it die. john |
