Default Factory Subwoofer Help

Hello. I have a 95 Legacy and am trying to install a factory subwoofer under the seat. I have the head unit from an 02 WRX (P-123) and the subwoofer is from the same car.

I hooked everything up like this guide shows, http://subaruparts.com/install/2002isub.pdf , and its not doing anything. All the connections seem fine and the fuses are good.
I am wondering if the ground on the side of the head unit isnt good enough of if I need to swap out the radio fuse.

Anyone got any other ideas.

Thanks for replying. Everything is working on it. I been working on it and found that the one wire on the sub itself is burnt up. Are there any replacement woofers out there?
