Default Help, Low Boost problem stock 02wrx

My boost is getting stuck a little under .05 (7lb) on my boost gauge; it should be going up to .1 (14lb).

Completely stock 2002 Wrx, have a k&n square air intake. 197k on engine.

I did a boost leak pressure test and couldn't find any leaks, and already replaced the boost solenoid. The actuator is still good. No codes or engine lights before or after replacing the solenoid. Pill is on the right side.

I unplugged the car battery and it kind of fixed the problem for a week.

I get full boost when I take the hose off the boost actuator, so the turbo works.

I bought a cobb and put a stage 1 tune on it and it still didn't fix the underboosting.

I'd say about 75% of the time my boost is stuck at .5 and 25% of the time my boost randomly starts working properly again.

So I'm thinking my ECU is limiting my boost for some reason and not giving me any information on it. What data should I be monitoring with my Cobb AP?

Also the engine sounds fine, no hard knocking, I check the oil twice a week. Just cleaned the mass airflow sensor.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Nevermind, seems to happen more often with dirty oil though, feedback knock is -4.2, -2.1? Ecu seems to be putting it in limp mode, not sure why though
