Yes, I have one we used for our Flex and will transfer it over, I also use a remote to close the garage while watching it.

Seriously. For whatever reason, though, I never watched his show when I was little. I might've had a happier childhood and turned out a better person if I had.

But the joy is I've watched nearly every episode with Dean since he was born. Fred Rogers might have been the best human being to have ever lived.

My parents got a lot in Eugene yesterday, looks to be 7-8". It knocked down one of their old walnut trees onto the boat shed but it looks like it didn't do too much damage.

I installed DBA rotors and Hawks pads with only a slight hiccup of tweaking a backing plate getting a rotor off.

I thought Edge to F Series was because of her. Yet you are the driver?

Edit: not edge. Flex?

She wanted a truck, I wanted a truck. My idea was a tacoma since it fit our needs and was more appropriately sized. She was very adamant that the tacoma was too small and wanted full size. I found this truck essentially spec'd as I would if built. It was in or price range and here we are. But she was never going to be the regular driver, she has a longer commute and parks in a parking garage on campus that is not friendly to 20'+ vehicles.

Happy wife happy life, I keep telling myself. I do like the truck the 3.5 ecoboost is plenty fun, and I'll eventually add a tune and make it more fun. I also needed something to tow my project vehicles from here to there.

I'm just about to finish up a class this week that will give me a Master Tech rating on one of the airplanes I maintain. I confirmed this morning that I will be the youngest Master Tech in history. It's mostly my company that made it happen due to the cost of training but still, I'm pretty proud of that.

Badass. Who paid doesn't matter it's still you that earned it. Sure they might own you for some time but... badass.

I noted it's been two months since I've felt like I was going to pass out due to rage at work. Might be something to do with the job change two months ago.

The squirrels in this neighborhood seem uniquely dumb. "AND FAT" -Mrs lag. And fat. All of my years of trying to not hit squirrels when driving says they will jump into the nearest "not road" once they realize they're about to be dead if you can stop/slow down in time. Here they will commonly run straight down the road. Sometimes it's funny and other times I want to get out the car and point to the grass, "OVER THERE!!!". One time a squirrel seemed to have thought he outran me and went back to walking down the road. It must have heard the loud machine behind them, turned around to see a car, jumped like "where did that come from!!!???" and continue down the road until making it over the t-intersection I was trying to get to.

^ in my top 10 favorite pictures because of these damned squirrels.

My son plays in a championship basketball game tonight. If they win tomorrow he'll be playing in the championship of that league on Sunday. He's a better athlete at 8 than I was my whole life.

There is an altoid bin in our 'misc' drawer in the kitchen. I wondered what was in it and it's just altoids. Maybe the most whimsical thing to happen to me so far this year.

This felt like the right place to post this but it isn't the perfect place. It'll do.

I work with a team of staff...my boss > me > 2 others. One of the others is extremely attractive. Fit (in every sense of the word), late 20's, and Instagram model levels of hotness. She doesn't dress provocatively at all but her choice in clothes leave zero doubt she's in great shape. Additionally she is very intelligent, and thoughtful to the point of being sweet. I've never seen her use her looks nor her charm as an advantage but there is little doubt she knows she's got it going on.

The random joy comes from seeing dudes just falling all over themselves around her. Our group works in a converted meeting room...so not cubicles like the rest of the office but our own room with work stations up against the walls. There are 4 of us in here and it's so hilariously adorable seeing dudes come in here and just fawn all over her...seeing all the various attempts at attracting her attention (from showing off to being overly humble, exaggerated welcomes & lingering smiles, always vying for her attention).

She takes it all in stride...again clearly knowing the impact she has yet not letting it phase her nor taking advantage of it.

And the other random joy - Even though my knowledge of the work we do is far superior (I've got years of experience over her) dudes almost always go to her first. And when they do go to me it's almost always quick so they can get a chance to talk to her for a minute

No, I will absolutely NOT take any pictures.
