I was told that I was crazy for wanting to run 1/0, but my application may end up requiring it when I finalize my system. My question is has anyone done it in the 2015+ WRX and will it fit beneath the sill panels?
I ran 4 gauge in my 2012 WRX and that was a tight fit. I was just wondering if 1/0 was that much more difficult as some local installers have told me it would be?
Granted, I can usually find a way to do it. I ran 1/0 in my 1997 Civic coupe (around 2008 or so) when I upgraded to a high power class AB setup (2,000 watts RMS). I already had pulled the whole interior to shampoo and dye the carpet, so running the 1/0 cable was a cinch. Rather than running it under the sills, I ran it under the carpet through the unibody reinforcements which had holes in them. In all honestly, I could have made 4 runs to the trunk that way, lol.
