I'm almost decided on the RPF1's i want but i can't decide on an offset. They'll be 17x8, but i can't decide on +45, +42, or +40. Granted i haven't called around to see if the +42 or +40 actually exist, but i've seen them for other style rims, so until i hear "sorry" they're an option.

What advice can the hive offer? Keep in mind it's just a 2.5i, and i'll be looking for a drop of between 1-1.5" and i don't want to rub.

Great thread and awesome cars all around, btw.

Also, has anybody tried to fit the stock 2.5i center caps on rpf's?

I'd go with +45 (which do exist). Though I don't know anything about fitment on 2g's.

17x8, +45 RPF1s in Gold. I'm lowered on Tein S-Types!

I was worried they wouldn't be big enough, but I think it was the perfect size for what I wanted.

Ruthless, that looks DAMN GOOD!!! The SBC finish would of been great too. What are the specs on your set-up suspension and wheel wise?

Thank you. 17x9.5, +38 with 5mm spacers up front. Nothing fancy, just on Megan coilovers with front camber plates and rear lower camber bolts. Rolled fronts and trimmed rear fenders.

Ok, so they're not on the car yet, but I got excited, so I thought I'd post 'em up.

18x10 +35 Sitting in my living room waiting for some big ol' race tires.

and the 17x8s they're replacing (will be for sale soon if anyone is interested):

Did you have to order those extra wide wheels? I think if I could do it over again I would of went with 8.5. But, I was concerned about clearance (And I don't think anybody had those in stock). Do you think that would have clearance issues with my set-up?

I really don't want to swap them out, but I may grab a second set for auto-x!!!

All this Enkei goodness has forced me to order a set of RC-T4s from Japan. This is going to be a long wait but I suspect the wheels will look awesome on my GC =)

I wonder what size tires I can slap on these 17x7.5, +48 that won't rub?
