![]() As requested, here are some more pictures. I am the original owner. The car is currently sitting at 160k mi. Just went through a major work of valve job, HG replacement, all T/B work. The only mods are tokico dspec+sti springs, group N tophats, 22 mm WRX rear sway bar, prodrive axle back+UEL header. I love the bugeye JDM STI, so I installed the JDM headlights, JDM V7 seat, V8 STI cluster, JDM V7 rims. Everything else are stock.
Many times, I thought about letting it go, but ended up keeping it. 13 years of love.....lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Has anyone else found that brackets for JDM STI ballasts don't line up with USDM bumper beams?

![]() I found that there are supposed to be two predrilled holes in the bumper beam for the JDM ballast bracket, but USDM bumper beams only have one of them predrilled. Nothing a drill can't fix! I put everything back together last night with my old morimoto harness and aftermarket ballasts while I wait for the Lightwerkz plug and play relay to show up.

![]() Now we are talking about HID anyways..
I have a set of EDM STI projector headlights.. And I want to put in a set of Xenon (Pilot Pro Line H1 Xenon) for the low beam. anyway I am struggling to find a neat and proper spot to place the ballasts.. Does anyone found a good spot to place the ballasts? thanks in advance already! |

![]() I believe this is where the OEM V7 ballasts are located, out of the way and hidden once the bumper is on. You'd probably have to make custom brackets though..

![]() To those of you like me who've had to change your alternator adjuster bolt because it broke, take notice to the version Mitsubishi makes for the Evo. Not gonna say it's better, but... uhh... it definitely looks beefier.
