Default Help with choosing headgaskets

Howdy, new member here and I did search but was not able to find this answer so I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.

I have an '06 WRX and I'm going to replace the headgaskets. If I understand correctly, the OE gasket is not good on these so I should upgrade to avoid doing this again. Can someone point me to a good vendor and gaskets to purchase?

Thanks in advance!

The complete opposite. I wouldn't use anything other than OEM.

Thanks for the comment. Can you expand on that? I keep hearing Subaru did a terrible job with the gaskets and didn't redesign them for a long time. Is that not accurate? This is my first Subaru so I'm trying to figure this out.

N/A EJ25's are notorious for headgasket failures. The turbo EJ MLS OEM gasket doesn't have the same problems as the N/A ones.

Another vote for MLS OEM. Only used OEM, holding 30 psi
