No need to feel stupid. That's what many of us are here for. Honestly, I knew nothing when I bought my first Subaru (old school GL) and I'm still learning a lot about my 08 WRX.
Glad I could clear some things up.

b) If I do remove the PS hard line, do I need to be concerned with fluid draining out? Or is this line dry when the engine is off?

There seem to be some people having issues with this piece, but I'm hopeful that the 'new' updated hoses will fit with no problems.

I'll post my results regardless.

thanks.
nolant,

On the 02-07 cars, you will want to remove the PS line for the install. There will be fluid that will drain out when you do this, so have some spare fluid handy. You will want to bleed the system after this too, but moving the steering wheel side to side with the front end in the air and make sure there's enough fluid in the system.

The newest hose has been working great! Lots less questions for install, since it's much easier to install, and the fitment has been spot on.

Is there a plan to offer inlet hose in different color?

No problem - I just ordered one. Your V2 hose seems much nicer and easier to install then V1.

I just installed v2 turbo inlet and was impressed with both quality and fitment. I can easily see that you guys spent countless hours on R&D; I know since I also work in the mfg business.

Package came with the silicone hose, several clamps and 2 license plate holders.

I would rate the hose 10/10.

PS: you guys still owe me $8.xx as promised on an email sent by Christina Silva (Invoice #15038)
