Doesn't look the greatest when viewed from the hatch, but at least it keeps anything from getting in between the seat and the SBP. It would probably look better if you removed the SBP for the install, and then installed the SBP over top of the seat covers, but the bulk of the seat covers would probably create a bit of a gap between the seat and the SBP. [Edit: also the velcro at the top of the SBP would have nothing to stick to.]
Would it be possible if I attached some velcro to the back of the seat covers for the velcro of the SBP to stick to?

Took a close look at my passenger side seat today and it definitely has a frayed look to the front edge of the seat. I also found two parts of the seat without support. It's like there are two fifty cent pieces of cushion removed or missing. I will call Subaru on Monday..

Also got GT and WO samples, does anyone have pics of the seat cover installed in their car?

STILL waiting.
Wet Okole is REALLY slow.
I think they have a 2012 Impreza on order, to get the measurements, haha.
They said it could be 20 days before shipping. They weren't kidding.
Must be running on island time....

Sorry, just saw this now...

Probably, if you stitched the velcro to the material, although the material behind the seat tends to bunch up because of the way the straps pull on it, so that might be a bit of an issue.

Hopefully they will figure out the pattern with mine, and the followup orders will be quicker! I hope anyway...
I notice its 21 days since I placed the order and no mention of them shipping yet. Thats not winning a glowing report from me.

I got the basic gray in the middle pattern. Just wanted to lighten up the all black interior with a tiny bit of contrast.

It took a couple days for Wet Okole customer service to get back to me.
NOW they are claiming 4 Weeks "in production" before shipping.
Supposed to be shipping out Thursday 6/5, another week or so for transit.
I hope they are worth the wait!
Jus be in no hurry brudda!

Pretty happy with them, fit well on the front, less snugly on the back but they work with the split folding seat and stay put. Got them to protect the seats from my 4 year-old and my dog. Here's some crappy iPhone pics:

For the front seats, how far down did you pull the cloth portion of the seat covers? Mine seems to cover most of the plastic trim on the bottom of the seats as well as the plastic seat adjustment levers.

No pics available but just picture small frays in the cloth about 6 -7 of them sticking up about a half inch or less on the drivers seat bottom and also the seat back but not as many. I was informed the replacement seat cover is on nationwide back order and would not be in for at least a month. It seems like the 13 OB and Legacy are going with a more Impreza like cloth. Most likely the same vendor. Hope it holds up!

Another option is this: http://www.wetokole.com/SUBARU.html

They've been around for years, and have some different types of covers, largely neoprene which is great if you're a real outdoorsman. A lot of people want a no-hassle cover that's easy to clean off, and good for being water resistant as well. Those are a decent choice. Just my two cents.

Thumbs up Wet Okole seat covers installed

My Wet Okole seat covers finally arrived! Almost exactly 5 week wait for a west coast delivery. This MIGHT have been the first ones they made for this model, pushing the time for delivery, or it might be normal lead time, per their remark "4 weeks of factory time" in a status report.

Are they worth it? If you need/want a high quality, well fitting seat covers, that look good, then these Made in the USA seat covers fill the bill. I am happy with them. And they are competitive pricing compared to other higher quality seat covers.

They are a SNUG fit. Most of the hour to install was snugging them into place. Do not try this on a hot day, it is some work. The fastening seems very secure and was relatively easy, as long as you are able to reach your arms under your front seats. The fastex buckles on nylon straps are relatively easy to click shut and pull tight by feel, without being able to see them.
The neoprene is covered on both sides with fabric, which should improve durability and not chew up your seat under the cover.

I did not remove any of the seat parts or shrouding. One tiny spot only by the driver's side tilt lever was a bit of a funky fit and has a tiny wrinkle. Maybe removing the shroud would avoid that, but its really not noticeable and didn't seem worth any extra effort. (see photo)

This weekend we will be driving around eastern WA (Leavenworth) in muggy heat in the 90's degF. We should know hot weather comfort using these covers after that.

My wife and I really like the color choice. A nice simple gray band in the center. It pops and ties together the imitation brushed chrome trim in the car, ties in with the headliner nicely, and provides enough accent so that the interior of the car doesn't just look like a black hole.

I probably will stick with my $60 cordura nylon covers on my 2003 Honda Element hiking/biking vehicle, because it does work, but the cheap covers do look like crap in comparison and need constant fiddling to keep putting them back into place. And I suppose looking like crap is a benefit at high crime trail heads that we have in the Northwest. But after seeing these....it is tempting.......

I am experiencing problems with the fabric on the driver's side. After 12K the fabric is not holding well. The Amazon.com: FH-PU007115 Deluxe Leatherette Car Seat Covers, Airbag compatible and Rear Split, Black color seems to be promising. Any other more comments regarding this product?

Agreed. My only concerns are:
  • Will they impede the airbags that are mounted into the seats?
  • How much do they allow the heat from the seat heaters through?
  • Could you have covered the rear seats too?

Seat covers have been designed to avoid impeding air bags since about the late 1990's. Just make sure you install them on the correct side.

Seat heater comes through just fine.

Yes, they also make covers for the rear seat, if you can afford the full meal deal.

I assume you meant the back of the front seats, right?

I can't think of such a product, other than a seat cover that covers all of the front seat, including its back.

I did. I actually remember telling myself to not make that mistake while I was typing so of course I did

Bring it in for a warranty claim, your dealership should replace them for you. I just went with those seat covers before my seats had a chance to fray. They're pretty nice, I've even gotten a few compliments for them. I only have the seat covers on the front seats though. I've been putting off installing them on the rear seats because I've been busy and I'm lazy. Having the seat back protector doesn't help either, as there is nothing for the velcro to fasten to.
