I thought the newer body style had a harder time fitting 10Ē wide wheels and that much rubber. Looks great. I run a lot more camber to get mine to fit. (-2.8 front, -2.5 rear), but I think I could shave off a little and still not rub.
Considering going up to 275ís next round of tires

Been on for a week or so and Iím getting a little bit of rubbing in the rear. Iím on lowering springs but installing HKS coils next week so Iíll add a little more camber. Loving the tires and like that thereís enough meat on them to protect the lip of the wheels. The 275ís are only .2Ē wider than the 265s.

hey all, could anyone on here possibly advise me on sizing (I've been searching the thread but am still uncertain...)

Would Volk ZE40 18x10 +35 fit on a 2016 sti, and clear calipers? I'm being told a +39 would require spacers, but a +35 would clear calipers, however would need fender rolls. Anyone know how much rolling would need to be done to fit a 265/35 or 275/35??

I'd consider a TE37 but I can't figure out sizing on that either. Would prefer to run an 18x10 if I can...

I am on coilovers as well, but not dropped super low. driving a hyperblue sti, and thinking that the bronze would look good, as it seems to look good on the marina blue bmw's.

Thanks yall!

No idea on the new body style but I can tell you that 18x10 +35 ZE40s on 275/35 MPSS fit nearly perfectly on a dropped GR. Tears rolled flat, fronts untouched. -2.8/-2.3 F/R camber.

How about a side profile shot? Im switching my wheel set up and trying to figure out new tires. Im looking at 265s and I know that the Firehawks run narrow for their sizes.

I really like the fire hawks. They perform pretty well, zero rubbing issues, they are priced very well, and I didnít even have to roll the fenders.

Itís weird, the 18x10 +39 cleared all except one caliper. It was grazing the caliper so lightly, I didnít even realize it was touching. Left a slight ring on the paint on the backside of the spokes. Had my suspension guy grind down the caliper a tiny bit and itís been fine since.

I would stick to 265/35 just for peace of mind. MPSS 265/35 are wide enough that theyíll still protect the lip and be pretty square on 10Ē wheel. My 275ís were rubbing but just installed coils so hopefully theyíre good. If itís still rubbing, itís not obvious. Gonna rotate tires to see for sure. Itís hard to tell now because rears have some marks from when I was on RCE yellow springs. Fronts are good so when I move them to the rear, Iíll know pretty quickly if theyíre rubbing at all anymore. Iím also not slammed at all, ride height is 25 3/4Ē to fender in front and 26Ē in rear.

I was under the impression that the +40 offset needed a spacer but the +39 cleared the calipers (specifically the front passenger). I went with +35 for peace of mind with no issues. Running 265/35/18 on a GR. Very happy with the whole setup.

The 18X10+40 CE28SLís clear the front brembos with plenty of room to spare.

My apologies, I was referring to ZE40's Brembo clearance in the 18x10
