I had a great experience with these guys. First, they matched the price on the front/rear strut tower bar combo that AFS Motorsports offered a few bucks cheaper. Then, I PayPal'ed them the money, and apparently there was a mix-up of my order with somebody else's, but after a phone call, it was immediately resolved, and the parts were shipped to me via 3-day Express. I got them, and I'm perfectly happy!
Revolutions Motorsports has great items at awesome prices, and they're starting to get their manufacturers to produce pretty high quality replicas, such as the STi pedal set, which I got, and it fits my car perfectly and looks awesome to boot. |

I'd have a very, very long and very bad review of Revolutions, but I'll keep it in as I'm still waiting for them to respond to my e-mails and PM's. Maybe my relationship with them will recover, cause right now they're on my crap list...
Henry, if you see this, I want my refund... Check your pm's and e-mail. |

In a word HORRIBLE ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ordered a set of the STi style mesh foglight covers. They arrived fine and I had them painted at my bodyshop. After painting I went to install them and the supplied screws were too short . And what did I see ?? they were at an angle that would make it impossible to mount to any foglight retaining screwhole. Needless to say I was not pleased. I tried emailing R.M. and it took a week for a terse reply of "wrong screws shipped were working on it". 2 months later no update and R.M. is still suckering others to buy the kit with no warning whatsoever. Look at the foglight covers post in the vendor classifieds to see how many others complain and yet no reply by R.M. I looked at a friends WRX and his genuine STi covers had a bracket that the covers actually screwed into. This piece is whats not included in the R.M. kit. Do not do business with Revolutions Motorsports youll likely get screwed!!!!! Last edited by SilverBoosted; 08-22-2001 at 07:38 PM. |

Gonna have to second Silver Boosted. I wrote them complaining too, the day I got them. I was told they were working on getting a new screw but as we played with it and made trips to the hardwear store it is OBVIOUS that the hole in the cover does not match up at all!!
I WANT THAT BRACKET!!!!! Then they said, "Just snap it in, No problem." Look, that just is not going to cut it. I realize that these are not the real STi version and some quality is compromised, but come on people for $97 I expect to at LEAST get all the parts!!!! Go ahead, check out the WRX & 2.5RS fog light cover thread. |

get screwed lol.
i dont really care for the bracket it is pretty much 95 percent secure without it. It already takes some tug to take them off as is without the bracket. they should have disclosed it though. im happy and will continue to do business with them EJ20WRX |

hey EJ20 if your WRX only came with 2 lugnuts per wheel which would make them "pretty secure" would you be happy ?????

Well I will have to say that I have never done anybussiness with them but most ever replica foglight covers do not come with the bracket, only the gueine ones. You should have known since this are a replica piece that it might not fit correctly or perictly and you most likly if you go to home depot you could make your own bracket or find some way of securing it.

Silverboosted-
how can you compare 2 lug nuts on a wheel with replica fog covers which are pretty damn secure as is. to each there own. You should find yourself a home depot solution (less than $2). Im actually it fits as well as it does, and looks as good as it does. EJ20WRX |

Simple EJ20 .... If it doesnt bring all nessasary hardware then tell me and let me decide if I want to buy it without alll mounting hardware. Dont tell me it brings everything nessasary to mount cause in my book the bracket is a nessasary item. If it wasnt the holes would not be there for them......

Well here I am reading the threads.
for all of you who have not been 100% satisfied with your purchase please e-mail me directly or call me directly at 715-834-5758. The fog covers for the WRX with the screw was a messed up deal. I was just over sea's and I brought up the question to the manufacture and they didn't have a real answer for me. I guess the reason the ydidn't fit was that the WRTX over in Asia has a slightly diffrent front facia. I am deeply sorry for the mix up and I will offer any of you who bought the WRX fog covers a 15% discount on any future purchases or next year when we get our 4WD attatchment and if your in the area please stop by for a few runs on the dyno on the house. Or if you have a center diff that will allow you to run on a 2 Wheel dyno please come by. I have been in and ou of the country and have not been keeping up at all on the private messages so please bear with me as I catch up or please e-mail me direct at [email protected]. We are working on our Suabru catalog and getting the parts ready and I will assure you that all parts will be tested and fitted to ensure that you are 110% satisfied with your purchase. We actually have ran into a few problems with fitment and have had to ship back full containers of parts because they are just a bit off. I do have about 100 ABS 2.5 STI front lips that need some minor trimmimg for a perfict fit that I have not sent back yet but any of you would be interested I am willing to sell them at 95.00 each. Other than that please be patient with me as I get all of the Suabru parts ready. Henry

How are we doing so far?
I know there are many happy customers out there and some that might now be too happy, I just want to thank all of you for your support.
We are not a large company and only have one other sales person besides me and two full time mechanics. ALL of you have helped us grow and we are now reaching a point were I think the cusomer service is not as good as it should be because we can not handle the traffic. I have decided to add two new members to our team and they will be in action in about a month. Until then please be patient with me if i don't reply to a post, e-mail, PM , right away or forget something. Henry

well so far so good. havent had any real problems and things seem to be going smoothly for my order which i'm awaiting shipment for. the only real negative thing i can think of is that i had to call twice before somebody picked up but i'm assuming that has to do with lack of man power as you mentioned so its really not of any signicance. i'm eagerly waiting the completion of the transaction and praying that all will continue smoothly cause so far there hasnt been really any substancial negative feedback about revolution motorsports and i hope it stays that way

Revolutions Motorsports had a slight problem with my Rota Subzero order. I waited about 10 days after the originally estimated shipping date, and there was still no trace of my wheels. When I contacted them about this, Henry looked into the issue promptly (including sending me a preliminary response from home on a Sunday), found out that my shipment was lost, and had a new one sent off the next day. I'm not sure if the error happened on the side of Revolutions or the shipping company, but mistakes happen, and I was pleased with the way this was handled.
If there's anything negative, I got the impression that Revolutions might be running at their capacity limit, and Henry might have a little too much on his hands, but I don't have any doubts that he's doing everything he possibly can, and that adding some more staff will address this. I'm sure that the small mixup that I experienced was an exception, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Revolutions again. |
