Default Before I get greasy, does anyone know about 04-06 susp swaps?

Unfortunately I left my Prodrive springs in the STi. I just didn't want to pull them out and throw off the alignment, so I chose to leave them.

Not a huge loss though, since I still have my GC coilover and camber plates. I decided last night to give those a try. Before taking anything apart though, I've been doing some reading about the differences in the struts between the 04 and 06'.

Before I get deep and dirty into this project, does anyone know for sure if the 04' springs will work on an 06'?

thanks.

Thanks for the info.

razy, I saw it there yesterday. I had to see a customer in Richmond and popped by the dealership. My dad was with me and when he saw the car he said "yeah, that really is a nice car".

Thanks pops.
The week before he called me a ricer because of my neon blue paint, and monster rear wing.

IIRC, he also called the STi with all it's badging and stickers a 'clown car'

But I'd have to agree on that bit.. de-pinked ftw

True, although I did challenge him to a race yesterday, and he declined. He said "I don't trust that new car with it's sleek lines and all those damn wings."

My dad kicks ass like a good Italian should.

I haven't done the springs yet.
By the time I got the car home yesterday, all I wanted to do was crash on the couch. It was a busy day, but I'm off in about 10 minutes to get started.

A clutch install party?

That's not the sort of job we can do in a few hours. The last time I checked, it was a hell of a job, not reserved for a couple dudes with cold beer.

How about 3 men and a lot of cold beer? Im sure I could talk Jamieson into helping out. But Im mostly just playing around, will likely pay to get it done this week. My current clutch won't even hold boost at this point. Gonna pick up an act street disc/pressure plate and a act streetlight flywheel.

Take er easy,

Malcolm

I ended up installing them without the camber plates.
Unfortunately, the coil top hat doesn't fit the v.8 shocks.

So if you'd like to buy the camber plates, let me know.
I think I have the top hats for a WRX too.

that should be an easy part to install.
btw, I like "Bavaria" beer. Not "Marca Bavaria" the Brazillian crap, "Bavaria" 500ml from Holland. You can find it at the willowbrook beer and wine store.
