Default Used wrx

Hi guys Im looking to buy like a cheaper wrx to hold me over for a couple years until new one comes out. 2015 premiums pop up and some 2016s. Is there a particular trim/year or package I should be looking for? I know the gtis like back of my hand but not wrxs

Thanks

2015 onwards are pretty much the same for the most part. Some kinks with the 2015,16 and may be 17 were later worked out. Such as firewall cracking. Perhaps look for 2018 on, or make sure the previous owner took advantage of the TSB's to get such issues resolved.
As far as packages go, leather seats and Harmon kardon speakers are nice to have. Part of the Limited for 2018, not sure about other years but probably similar.

What "new ones" are you talking about? Is there some actual change for some future year that you're waiting for? WRXs tend to hold their value well, so buying used can be a bad financial move as you may be able to be in a brand new one for very little more money. Crosstreks are like this as well. We bought our Crosstrek new a year ago because used ones saved us zero money until they were more than 2 years old.
