Default Thoughts on Civic Si Mugen.

Avondale Subaru has one of these on their lot with low mileage and is a decent price. Very cool looking car and I hear great things about the Si. Anybody have any experience with them?

How much.. I know where there is one cheap.

I just picked up a 4dr SI, a couple weeks back and really enjoy it. It has intake, exhaust, header, reflash, and it moves fairly well. It is fun to drive, good gas mileage, etc.

The Mugens are cool, but you are paying a lot for a bunch of cosmetic stuff, other then the suspension. Unless you are stealing it, you would be better off getting a regular SI sedan, and doing some more beneficial mods. IMO

The K series respond really well to mods, for a little NA motor. They also do well on boost

I'd constantly be worried about theft. Cool car though.

What happen to your Infinity or BMW idea?

If you still have you subaru, I say get a mature car.

The JDM cars are nice.

IMO the 08 USDM cars look nice and clean, just lowered, with the factory HFP front lip. I'd save the $5k on the JDM conversion, and do a CT blower, or full race turbo kit..lol

They are still on the list I just saw this car on the lot and it looks nice. The WRX is getting traded in on whatever I buy next.

Im a fan of Honda. If the new Accord V6 came in a manual with a decent suspension/brakes upgrade I would probably own an Accord.

Yeah I wouldnt pay 30k for a new one but 19k for one with less than 20 thousand miles makes things a bit different. The Si is fairly quick, especially at crusing speeds, and handles really well.

i hear you on that, you asked for thoughts, thats what i gave.

but i guess i doesnt look all that bad, but i agree with others above saying to buy the si and spend what you save on more performance rather than cosmetics

How big is the backseat compared to a 02-07 WRX? If its pretty small thats a deal breaker right there.

I just measured it.

Both my wrx(08) and SI, had a 53" long x 19" wide seat cushion, i measured the distance from the edge of the rear seat, to the back of the driver seat at 11" on both cars too. Seems very comparable.

Ones that are within my price range have high mileage. Plus the fuel pump issues can be a real pain in the ass.

Its a honda si for petes sake, ugly served with a heap of ugly. get a yugo they look better. If you went out and bought Aids at 30k or 19k you still got ripped off because you just purchased Aids, the SI is the same thing but in car form.
