Default Anyone activated the EJ20G 5th injector?

Has anyone ever converted the Type RA 5th injector to actually work? Like for meth, nitrous, even a standalone injector controller?

I've got one on my engine and I always daydream about making it functional.

Worst case scenario I could just clip the harness to the injector and wire in a standalone injector controller, but I would love to figure out what pin on the ECU activates this little sucker and if the ESL board would be able to control it?

Barring that, I might try to go standalone at some point.

check on the English forums - they love that kind of "WRC" stuff, Carl Davey even had a 5th injector kit at one stage (he's gone now however)

So in looking at the Link WRX V1/V2 plug'n'play stand alone ECU, they appear to have I/O circuits that could be used to fire the 5th injector.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram and pinouts for the V1 Type-RA engine?

Glad your looking into this. I have a closed deck 5 injector type ra motor totally rebuilt with custom manley oversize valves, bronze guides etc but dont know about powering that 5th injector.
Stand alone was my only idea so far.
