Default any threads or info on repairing the auto-dim option??

hi, is there any info or threads that you know of to fix or repair the auto dim feature on the WRX rearview mirror? it stopped working(dimming). i haven't even looked into yet, but i'm sure it involves replacing the mirror itself.
any info?
thanks,
jason
