![]() For those of you who have the iwire fuel pump kit, I have a question.
I just did the install, everything went smooth and took the car for a run. Upon pulling back to the driveway the car started to stall (speed density tune sensitivity) and then I got a p0230. I did some googling and saw some people having this issue after they did a hardwire kit (homemade, but haven’t heard iwire kit stories) I then realized I had put the jumper relay into the wrong fuse ( I put into fuse 1, the heater blower) which I since changed to fuse 13. I am wondering if the p0230 was triggered due to the car starting to stall as the idle dropped low. Anyone have this kit and did you get a p0230? My tuner said he has never seen a check engine light with this kit…. So maybe this was all due to originally putting into the heater blower fuse Vice the SRS meter lamp fuse. Obviously this is a huge issue if the kit causes a p0230 since I’m pre greenspeed tune with a bunch of emissions disabled Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC

![]() P0230 googles as a fuel pump circuit issue. So all likeliness is due to using the wrong fuse the first time around. Clear the code and see if it comes back. If it doesn't, good to go.

Thanks for your answer. Yeah I know the code is related to the fuel pump circuit. The code only triggered when the car stalled and idle dropped low… before when it was just idling it was fine and when I drove it. I swapped the fuse so I’ll see. I would assume that if there was a real issue, the check engine would have popped up immediately upon starting so I’m guessing the stall cut off the power to the blower motor and it made the check engine pop on. I’ll see if it happens again! Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |
