![]() People get too easily on that fault-finding behaviour.
Guys: -It's not an SUV -It has AWD and a turbo boxer engine -Wheel arches have never been so prominent and even less in a wagon -Have you seen that hood scoop? The best of new and old design together! -It's surprisingly close to the viziv tourer concept as no other Subaru has ever been -it's not fugly or bland I don't know... Nowadays it's a pretty rare offering. I'm happy with what I see and for what it could have been but it's not. |

![]() If I needed a new car, 10/10 would buy. The front is a little busy, but it's less busy that other cars on the market. I'm betting it'll look a lot better in person, and when there isn't blinding lights from every direction on it.
If they brought it here, it's a day late and dollar short for me, unfortunately. It won't show up on our shores though, so I'll just keep enjoying my hatchback. |

Target the many Americans coming in to buy an Ascent or an Outback, they will all leave with Ascents and Outbacks, no Levorg sales. Target the 1 in 10 WRX buyers who are open to a wagon (or the 50% + who dug the GR hatch over the sedan) and you'll sell enough WRX GT's to not have to commit seppuku. |

Automobile claims subaru is going to release another special sti in november in the beginning of this article. Do they know something nobody else knows and accidentally leak it out? |

![]() This is a prototype and will surely get toned down for production... 'least that's the way I see it happening. Or maybe this is production ready? Even if so, I think it'd do fine on the market.

![]() Nice. I guess this is a sneak-peak at what to expect for the upcoming WRX/STI redesign.
Because we're heading into the future. The future is linear with straighline and edges. You'll be seeing a lot more of this from Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. |

![]() People see the same thing in so many different ways. Some see attractive, some see ugly. First I see what everyone else does, and any gut reaction from it. But that's just my opinion, even to myself, and then I "see" the object in a dynamic environment... the atmosphere and aerodynamics.
Here I see purposes beyond each of the elements and what they're designed to do. Take the headlights... they're positiond in a shaped chute that whips high speed air past, over, and around it: Self cleaning at speed. The radiator openings, upper and lower, are in the highest pressure areas, ensuring the fundamentals of maintaining temperature control of engine, oil, and transmission. The lower opening is where an active grill shutter lives, either providing additional cooling or when closed a more aerodynamically efficient frontal area that adds to gas mileage. Lower, the "splitter" shelf both shapes airflow as well as employing it for front downforce. It's not only an engineering success, its aesthetics are trendy yet uniquely identifiable as Subaru. The hoodscoop, as multiple people including myself have said, embodies the best of the old and new into both a uniquely functional design and a muted modernized statement of purpose. All the black plastic is functionally placed while shaping, complementing, and flattering the body's shape by directing the eyes to see more svelt that it has. That's just the clothes on the runway model, it is the implications of what's underneath that its overall presence hints at... performance, as teased by that scoop, dual exhausts, tires and stance. The badges and iconic grill "wing" of a Subru means turbocharge boxer, all wheel drive, and meaner than it looks... in the judicial hands of more a mature driver. Class. But so far we can't have it. Why. Americans, in my experience, sadly, are crass rednecks compared to other countries I've visited. Maybe one day we'll grow up and get things like the EJ207 and Levorg. Why? We simply haven't appreciated them enough. They don't care... because they do like them and don't need our insuting opinion. DISCLAIMER: Written by an acknowledged Subaru fan and biased. |

![]() I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to, you mean the thing between the oil fill neck and dip stick? Or you mean the turbo?

![]() wasnt there an article that there is a new FA15DIT alongside an FA18DIT? wonder if that's true, but they likely meant FB15 and 18DIT as shown in the levorg engine photo.

![]() I see exactly what the concept and the current impreza suggested, and Ive been saying the current impreza would have made a good STI based on the design. I can't WAIT to see it in STI trim. I think it looks slimmer than the current cars. i'm very into it. Bottom of the front bumper is a little busy, but i like the top half quite a bit.
Tone down the bottom of the front bumper and make the sides a little more interesting and I think it's a winner. I'm imagining Jeremy Clarkson again saying 'they forgot to style the sides' |

![]() I think it’s pretty nice looking. That’s not much of a surprise though - the current styling of all the Subaru models is pretty attractive.
