So it sounds like the 18G XTR is basically a pointless turbo? If the 20G XTR spools faster, there's no point to the 18. Wish I had found this thread sooner.

Pretty much yes. The 18GXT (non R) spools faster than the XT-R version. Not sure how response would be since its BB vs JB but it loses spool.


I have been quite happy with my 20G-XTR E85 setup on my 2L even though the hotside is a 10cm.
