I would think the FWD bias of the Ascent is the advantage.
WRX 6MT VC = 19/26
WRX CVT VTD = 19/25
Ascent CVT Active = 21/27
I don***8217;t think the WRX power is based on torque limits. It already has more power than the competition, so they don***8217;t need more. It***8217;s still the highest output of any WRX. Plus more would just get even worse MPG. Golf R isn***8217;t Subaru***8217;s benchmark. GTI/Si are.
