While I'm thinking of it, for future reference - if you start with a non-turbo forester, you'll need a radiator upgrade and some fuel system parts. Many of the needed parts should be on your donor Sti, but a few FXT parts may be needed. Working through it.

The radiator fans and shroud also can't be used from the X unless you really want to try modifying them. The connectors for the fans also aren't directly compatible with the STi harness.
Keep in mind that not all Foresters come with automatic climate control, but the STi will, unless it's an SE. There are significant differences in the heater box between cars equipped with the two different systems, as well as some sensor and dash control differences. |
