Who in the hell invites strangers and just people they see at a car meet every once and awhile to their wedding? The local culture is seriously messed up and this is a huge example of that. I can't believe stuff like this goes on.

I invited people to my wedding reception.. I consider people on here such as pumpkyn.jason.paul etc because I consider thwm a friend of mine.. Why would someone who doesn't even know me show up? I'm not saying your full of BS but if u got a problem with it then/if u get married don't invite "strangers" that's chill...I'm not trying to start an argument I posted this thread to share my excitement and my joy with others..some people may have problems with it wich is there opinion/right..however to thoughs saying congrads I thank you..

Instead of going through all the work/drama/money etc for a wedding? im not calling you out or saying you are wrong but thats just my opinion cause i surely know im not getting married just so i can have sex. and i also to grew up in a LDS family.

Yes, I understand that kids will have sex if they want too regardless. What I am saying is they are pressured by the church or adults to enter marriage to prevent these activities. Im sorry not to hurt your feelings but 19 Years is way to young to get married, you havent even experienced life at that age. Its appaling to me that adults would condone marriage at such a young age. I have been deployed 2 times to Iraq and currently to Afghanistan as a infantrymen lived in Germany travelled all over the world had serious and not so serious relationships in my life and finnaly settled down and I dont know if I was ready when I got married. My 2 cents, I hope I am wrong and you have a long and satisfying marriage but the odds say you will astray from your vowels in a few years. Its human nature no matter if your LDS or not your human first.

Yeah I know Roooler! and If I was heading down that direction I would def stop by. so let the man invite people if he wants to, there's no harm in that.

Anyway Congrats man! Being married is great! and of course there are those times when its not, but that's life and you guys will learn to get passed those times I'm sure. I don't think I will actually be heading down that direction at that time, but ya never know. either way Congrats and have fun that day!!

did you guys ever decide if where you're going to move to?

haha well that's cool man, Cedar is a fun place! not too big on the racing scene, no tracks haha, but there might be some kids that still do some drags out in the boonies at midnight, but I think the cops finally started cracking down on those things. lots of fun hiking trails and stuff though too, my wife and I sometimes wish we didn't move from there.

If that's not the case then good.

The other thing you will run into at a young age is you both are still figuring out who you are and mnay times people married in there late teens, early 20's grow apart. Either way, you have your work cut out for you. It's not easy, hell, I'm 34 and still get sick of it sometimes and have a hard time with being married. Best of luck to both of you!

Bottom line, some people are ready at 19 and some are not. Many cultures in the world marry young and you don't see near the divorse rate that you see in the U.S. when people are older. It's comes back to values and committment, which many people toss away to quickly.

I'm not sure what there is so much to learn about life that you can't learn with another person, especially when that person is you best friend. Personally I think there is too much socially constructed BS in the world right now and when something/someone falls outside that we give them grief.

Again, best of luck and remember to work hard!

I am at SUU, what are you going to school for? Is your wife to be going to school as well? It is a really common thing around here. Oh and congrats.

Congrats, I got married when I was 21. We had been together, without any major breaks, for five years. I was not raised nor am I LDS.

Assuming you haven't lived together, be aware that all the simple, seemingly mundane things that your fiance does will annoy the hell out of you when your'e married.

Learn to work stuff out together, and don't screw it up. Good luck.

Congrats hope it works out for you two. I love being married although it does scare me thinkin I can only have the same V@gina for the rest of my life. But... That's why I waited till I was nearly thirty to get married in the first place. IMO I would never have survived a marriage at a young age, I just needed to grow up a lot. Still do.. But to each his own, and I wish nothing but the best for you both..
