2018 wrx headlight condensation
Anyone else having problems with condensation in their passenger headlight on the 2018 and up? Mine started doing it about a month now and with cold temperatures the moisture inside freezes! Driver side is perfect and no issues.
I am thinking of seeing if the dealer will replace but I feel like I'll start to get rattles after taking it in if they don't put it back together correctly, which isn't uncommon at the dealer. The other option is leaving it alone until it get warm and opening them to paint the housing black Thoughts?

I could be wrong here, but I vaugley remember something in the owners manuel about moisture build up being "normal" from time to time. As cold as it's been most places lately, I'd expect to get told from the dealer it's normal. If you do separate to pain buy a roll of the butyl from the retrofit source and you'll be golden.

not sure about subs s but most headlights aren t sealed and have venting along the bottom. Big temp changes can cause this. Had same issue with a Porsche and was found to be normal. In the summer when I went from my cool damp garage into the hot sun it would fog up a little and then clear itself.
