Post MRT Lower Control Arm Mounts

Have any of you installed MRT's lower control arm mounts. I would like to know if they are worth the money. I read about them in Sport Compact Car and the author liked them. But I want to know from real Scooby owners. Thanxs

Steve

Damon,
Remember where Shiv gets his pay check from. He gets it from the advertisers. I'm not calling him dishonest, but he may have to over glamorize products a little in order to make the advertiser happy.

are you speaking of the improved linkages to the sway bars from MRT? if so, I have them. they work well. what you will notice is that your steering is a little more precise and that they eliminate vagueness in steering. the ride is a little rougher though. for the $$$, they are worth the price. (I think 30$ each???) the shipping from MRT will kill you, try to find a reseller in this country to save the shipping cost. while you are at it, you might want to get the MRT sway bar bushings which are pretty cheap.
good luck.

I have a question Shiv answer when ever.
Why are you the only one in SCC who never has there picture anywhere?

Your articles have always been my favorite.
And going through the mag monthly I see Larry, I see Josh, I see Dave and the Ass of the chick in the Wings West add. But I never see you.

What up with that?

Ken

Hello,

When you can see pics of "the ass of the chick in the Wings West ad", why would you want pics of Shiv's homely mug?

In case he doesn't check back this thread, Josh, Dave, etc., are all located in LA where the office is. They work together, taking pics and writing articles, etc. Shiv is in the San Francisco Bay Area all by his lonesome self (none of the SCC crew is up here). So he has to write and take his own pictures. It's not too easy to take exciting pics of yourself

I have noticed Shiv's face, though, when he goes down to LA for a story. So, for example, you'll probably see him in some of the cars in the 8 Great Rides article which should be out soon...
