Default will an 02 tc work on an 04?

will an 02 wrx torque converter work on an 04 if i send it to protorque for modification? i called protorque and said they weren't sure, but they said as long as a stock 02 will work on a stock 04 wrx, it should be fine.

i got a good deal on an 02 tc and i want to install it on my 04 after sending it to protorqe.

will it be compatible?

As long as they are from the same engine (ie: a TC from a 2.0 is the same part # as any other year 2.0 but not the same as a 2.5) it will work.
