GTC 300 fits this car so well. Nothing obnoxious about it in my book

Just got a 2011 hatch and what I love about the subie is taking it up the mountains during the winter, and the desert during the summer.

I enjoy looking at the different visions we all have with these cars in this thread!

I'm super pleased to share with you all a couple shots of my car:

I recognize that awhile back I was showy with the car being fresh out of the roll cage shop, I'm sorry for coming across that way. I was very very excited to share it, but came across like I had the best Subaru out there, I talked down to a couple people and was rude and snobby/pretentious ...that's not how I conduct myself and I'm disappointed looking back. So my apologies to all.
We're all enthusiasts who share a similar passion, and no one Subaru is the be-all-end-all.

I can confirm fitment and finish for the Seibon Carbon Fiber hood Scoop HDS0809SBIMP-OE. It went on with zero problems and the quality is on par with what you would expect from a company like Seibon.

I had been looking at Carbon Fiber hoods off and on for a while, but I really like the color of my car and didn't want to lose that. Plus, however dynamic and cool they look to me, it is not something that I'm comfortable with putting on the car; maybe a little too much (loud) for me. But I really think they are beautiful.

The scoop gave me that little bit of carbon fiber accent without going nuts with Carbon Fiber. Understated but definitely there.

I highly recommend it if any of you gentlemen were ever considering it.

Good to hear. I was looking at getting one of those as my OEM one is starting to weather.

What color is your car? I feel it might be too much of a contrast with my car being silver.

^ My hood scoop had started to look weathered and the paint looked a little splotchy. I removed it and it is being repainted at the dealership body shop should I want to go back to stock...it might as well look factory new.

To answer one of your questions, the car is Plasma Blue Pearl which is Subaruís flashy way of saying indigo. Itís a complex color that changes in different lighting. Sometimes the purple is more apparent, sometimes the deep pearl blue is more apparent.

Do I think it would look good with silver....of course. I donít necessarily see carbon fiber as a ďcolorĒ to match as I much as I see it as a finish or texture. I think it would go with any of the colors in which our cars exist.

Do it and enjoy it. Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with. Iím sure any of the others here would be happy to weigh in on the subject too.

Good luck!

He's the only tuner I'd trust. I have another re-tune with him in a few weeks when he comes back to Texas (ELH and other bits were done). Blue is perfect for street and when I autox. Great turbo.

And off to the body shop tomorrow for hail damage repair, hood pin install and black wrapped roof.

my spt carbon trunk piece looked the same as yours. i couldnt figure out how to get the clear coat off completely without the fear of sanding too roughly and hitting the carbon fiber itself.

Was at the car wash one day and sprayed it super close with the high pressure wash and it came right off. all i had to do was reclear it and it was good to go. made the back of the car look fresh again.

Yeah, I think they're going to either do that with high pressure air, or re-clear as is with multiple layers and block sanding it down to even out the high/low spots.
