The Prodrive P1s I bought in the beginning from a pretty good deal. however, they cam powdercoated and they have curb rash. As much as I love the classic design, I am dissatisfied with the offset and not willing to deal with spacers. If it had a decent offset, I would have spent money to get the re-powdercoated. That being said, i am planning to get a set of RPF1s in gold or bronze on 225/45/17's very soon.

Yes, totally bolts on (here is the Instructions: https://techinfo.subaru.com/proxy/63...e2410fg100.pdf), but NOT cheap... I worry about it alot since it is made from hard plastic (not flexible type PU plastic) I've scraped coming down to quickly on steep inclines. Part number: E2410FG100

Will probably get the skirt lip for under it to complete the look:

Side note:

Getting the Rear Oem under spoiler/ guard and painting it black when it gets here. should break up the rear end a bit.

Also:
Getting a set of RPF1's soon, but still deciding to get the new Bronze or classic gold. I wonder which would look better with a Spark Silver Impreza.
or...

???

So I went and ordered the RPF1s in gold. Should get here in a week or so.

Spent the day prepping the rear bumper under guard. Nothing like lighter fluid to help scrape the old adhesive gunk off with a razor. Next week will be some painting with flat Trim black paint after some scuffing.
http://i.imgur.com/C91dDEv.jpg

Also took my taillights off for a clean and some red Vinyl wrap. First time doing the taillights and what a challenge. There are bubbles there but not enough to notice past 3 feet away.

Will look so much better when the rear underguard is painted black and installed.

how is the ride quality of your strut/spring setup. Having any problems with the struts blowing out early? Im looking into the same KYB excel-g struts, but am trying to source stock wrx springs and group n top mounts maybe.

It's been a bit more than a year and they are holding up fine. The ride quality is more WRX than 2.5i stiff, yet still comfortable enough for daily driving.

I don't think I'll have much issue with them blowing out because compared to coilovers, they are easier to just straight up replace individually. at $70/40 for front/ rear.

I am not aware of group N top mounts for 08-14 GE/GH/GR/GV.

I would look into aftermarket springs for a subtle drop (1-1.2 inc) and a stiffer spring rate than stock WRX.

Are their excel-g for both 2.5i and wrx? Been looking around and it looks like to me they make one model advertised for both 2.5i and wrx but with wrx+ stiffness.

It's one model for both. The dampening is more WRX, hence stiffer than 2.5i stocks.

AFAIK 2008-14 WRX struts are the same. It is the STi that is setup differently in regards to where the lower mounting holes in the strut.

Thought about that idea since the new one is $200+ but I lucked out on a used one on ebay for $45. Just keep an eye out especially for the 08-11 Outback Sport models.

I am planning to paint and mount it this weekend. Will take some pics after.

Much appreciated! thanks for the Intake btw, fits without issues. Only thing I did was cut the barb at the end cause it was hitting the motor.

Car feels like a beast accelerating now lol
