Bed cover: I'd like to make something that either quad-folds or rolls up so it sits between the sport bars when I need the vertical space and can sit nicely on the back seat if I need to bring it into the cab. There are some great DIY's on a single-hinge top but those won't fit in the back seat the way I'd prefer.

Yes, I have considered coilovers. My other car (Mitsubishi Lancer) is lowered on coils and I really don't want to deal with 'Will I fit over that bump?' while driving the Baja, it's great to be static low but I'd prefer the adjustability. That said, I will listen to and research good arguments for coils so if you have a great recommendation or counterpoint I'm all ears. I am looking to put the tank and compressor under/in the bed - I need to pull some of the bed cladding off to look for compressor space. Will probably pull the spare to mount the tank.

As for wheels I really like the US Wheel Series 68 (https://www.uswheel.com/wheel/11993/...8/?finishID=12) in a dark gray but am having a lot of trouble finding them, or similar, in spec - 5x100 is not a popular pattern for such wheels. I'd prefer 7 or 8" wide, but if I have to go with 6" wide I can probably live with it. Also considering hub adapters but there isn't much room to space out without cutting the body and I don't want to go with overfenders on top of the cladding. Or so I think.

Advice, suggestions, input all welcome.

$25k in mods on a $5k car. I dig it! :P

You'll probably need a transmission and axles and diffs once you get up to those power levels and maybe a custom drive shaft.

I'm hoping not, at least for a while. If I do I'll swap to the 6spd

Dropped off at AZP for brakes this week, hoping they have the time to get the speed parts installed as well.
