Thanks and no problem at all... I really like the TurboXS FMIC. Directions could be better but there is a video on youtube that helped a bit. The quality is really good, the bumper beam replacement is a nice piece, and the core seems good. I was able to make decent power without issue and have never had any leaks or problems with the kit.

The only downsides I experienced were- having to hammer down the tabs/lip on radiator support and the fitment of the piping against the bumper around the driver fog light support. It took a little trimming to get the bumper to sit right but all in all not a big deal.

On another note, I am not going to part out just yet I still really want an M3 but not ready to take my WRX apart yet. The WRX is just so fun in its current form and I'm not done with my vision yet.

In fact, I just ordered all the parts for a center console swap and then I will bet getting it all out to Overland for his final touches.

Holy... How do you keep that hood this clean??? I get you're from California and not dealing with snow etc, but even an oil change at the garage and they mess up the engine cover a bit. Your car looks brand new!!! Looking so good man.

Haha thanks. I have never taken my car to the dealer and I do most things myself. I have 1 mechanic I trust that has some a little work to it but that's it. This is my 9th Suby since 2003 so I have learned how to keep it nice and do work to it without making a mess. Im pretty OCD which helps too.

Whenever I take people in my car they always think it's brand new

That's the ultimate compliment

Cuscos came loose twice on me. You cant beat how simple and reliable the SPC/White line units are. Zero issues with them.

I see some of your detailing supplies.

Care to share what you use to detail the WRX?

No problem!

I never traditionally wash the car. Instead, I rinse it off at the local pressure wash bay and then use Griots Rinseless Wash with a clean product bucket and a rinse bucket with a grit guard. I spray the car with the Rinseless Wash 1 panel at a time and then use microfibers soaked in the product bucket- turning to the other side after each wipe.

It comes out really nice using this method and after over 3 years I have very few swirls.

I also use:

Griots Speed Shine
Chemical Guys Tire/Vinyl Matte finish
Griots Interior Cleaner
Venom Swirl Remover Glaze
Venom Carnuba Wax
Chemical Guys Glass Cleaner
Random Chemical Guys scents, cleaners, etc. (There is a local Chemical Guys store near my office so I try things out)

Thanks for sharing. I need to clean the STi but just haven't had time or bad storms have been rolling through.

Scored a Cusco 1.5 Type RS LSD

Ive been debating between a rear LSD and going full STi drivetrain, but Im eager to try this out for a fraction of the cost. At some point, I will still consider the STi gears/diffs but for now this will do

STi center console is back from Overland Designs- Black Alcantara with Red Diamond Stitching

Unfortunately, the Legacy trim piece doesn't fit with the STi shift trim (it fits with WRX though) so I had to order a shaved and wrapped STi trim that will be here soon.
