That would be ok too, at least I don't have to order it from 4 different places or drive to 7 different Pep Boys stores (which always seem to be in the hood for some reason)

....well....IF----IF that was possible, in every possible way......it might be an idea....but just storing them would be problematic.......and the capital expense of buying them would be prohibitive for me, as well.....as I am poor....

Well, I was thinking price break for the drum for the bulk general gear oil. Maybe even get it locally like the Fleet service guys do.

1 qt. of redline shockproof lightweight,
1L of AC delco (GM) syncromesh and 2 qts. of
castrol hypoc 80w90.
for the rear diff- 1 qt of redline shockproof heavyweight.

Amazon has all the ingredients so you will have to beat their price. I will voice my opinion on this cocktail at a later date. I started using a mix of syncromesh way back when and I recently tried this mix and will tell you my opinion after a couple thousand miles...

I just changed my motor oil with Royal Purple 5w30. Got them from a friend whom is a manager at Pep Boys. Got them in a box of 12 for $4.99 a quart. Now I am ready for Uncle Scotty's cocktail after reading this forum. Here are the list.

80w90 Castrol Hypoc C =$3.29 per quart O'Reilly Auto Parts
Pennzoil Synchomesh=$5.99 Pep Boys
Redline Lightweight Shockproof=$15.49 Jotech Motorsports
Quaker State75W90 Rear Diff. Gear oil=$5.99
Torx bit T70 for 2004+ transmission drain plug=At a very cheap price.
