Ya, there was even a priority parking area for Oregon Subaru Club. I should have thought about it and posted about it on here

Yeah, that was pretty cool. Lots and lots of Subies. We took the wife's GTI though.

Yeah that parking spot up front next to everyone else in the club was great. Felt like a giant cruise getting to and leaving PIR that evening.

Facebook is just an easier social media for most people to post on since everyone almost always get a friendly response. The forums can be a little harsher about pointing out that your question has already been asked, but it has so much information floating around it's hard to filter through sometimes.

Facebook makes sense to replace things like regional forums.

What would be ideal would be a mix of the two. A forum for the technical stuff, with a Facebook like UI to replace the regionals and possible classifieds.

I'm just here to say hi, and although I dont see the spotted thread anymore, saw a really clean nice bugeye the other day that wasnt slammed or on stupid wheels. Gave me a slight bit of hope. So if you are on here, good job. (was grey with sti wing with stiffies, prodrive stick on the door panel, classic RA flaps, and EDM/JDM headlights)

So there are still some people here from days of old. Noice.

I don't have any of my Subies anymore, but wife has a 2015 WRX limited in the dark grey color with a few style bits but no performance (she is dangerous enough without more power, lol). I am driving it around this week while she's out of town, so I apologize if you waved and I didn't return the courtesy, but I'm not used to doing so anymore, and I broke the habit long ago.

I'm currently looking for either a replacement hood in OEM gray or a carbon hood (OEM style, not with fish gills) for a 2015-2018 because reasons (though I will say I had nothing to do with it!).

Stay boosted, my four cylinder friends.

First time I've logged in for probably a couple years, too. Was curious what happened to this place when someone linked to a build thread here from Reddit. Sad to see it's almost all gone I don't even know how many hours I spent on here from '06-'13 when I got my first 2.5RS, then WRX, then STi :'( I miss the old NASIOC as well.

The facebook group is just too toxic and full of little kids for me...

It's like a Subie Spring, all the oldies waking up at the same time and checking NWIC at the same time. Kinda missed this. Think I'll start lurking here more now that all the Bro's are on FB now, asking dumb questions, melting like snowflakes when their post gets taken down or flamed for asking 2x the KBB of their ride.

Nice to see another San Remo on here too

Well its official, I just drove into my new city.. Hello Bellingham WA and good bye Boston MA! I had to drive here with a trunk full of octane booster, as half the US runs on 91 and my car rums a 93 tune and my laptop was packed and shipped so no way to swap tunes.. water Methanol injection next month for sure. Any dynos that allow rental for self tuning around here?

I can't think of any self-rent dynos but we can definitely point you to places that have dynos in the area.

Welcome! I've been using this site since 2002 I think and I'm also praying for traffic to come back. I'm like the dude still sitting in the foxhole and didn't know the war is already over.

Thanks for the welcome! So far weather has been amazing and everyone has been super friendly. It would be great to get some recommendations on good dyno shops as it seems much of the lists on Nasoic are outdated. Hope to see you guys/gals around.

I pop my head up once in a while, look around, get sad, then go back in the hole. I think a lot of people moved on but I still feel like it's a good car for the money, and I know them pretty well by now to fix a lot of the basic stuff.

Still holding out for 2020, it's kind of make or break at this point for me. I don't mind the evo-face/corolla-butt 2015+, but really want to see what it will be on the global platform.

I guess I'll jump into what action there is here, since the majority of FB has been overran by what looks to be a sort of "new breed" of Subie owners. Take it as you will. Still a lot of great folks out there though!

I'm in the Mill Creek area, if you ever saw me, I drove a 2002 Sapphire Blue Pearl WRX w/ ABW 80mm flares plastered with "D.Va" badges and stickers.

Car's stuck in the garage now undergoing transformation, but I'm looking forward to getting it back on the road in half a year or so ^^. So if you see a black 2016 Dodge 3500 TD waving at you, wave back please

Meets wise, there's RCS's Bi-weekly meet at the Redmond Town Center on Mondays. Everett Marina meets are to start up again soon, but I think the location might have shifted. BNW @ PIR is the 5th. Wish I could go.

Looks like the RCS Everett meet is back for Sat, Aug 11th at 5 PM. I may pop in - never been to an RCS meet before actually. Usually, their times suck for me.

Anyone heading to BNW this Sunday? The girlfriend and I are heading down Saturday morning to explore Portland for a day before getting a full night's rest for a long Sunday.
