Default Meth nozzle placement for FA20DIT?

I cannot seem to find any info for FA20DIT meth kit nozzle placement.

Anyone here running WMI on their 2015+ WRX that can share their set up?

Is it by the throttle body? Somewhere by the TGV deletes?

Just looking for info on how others have set it up. Or if you could point me to some youtube videos as well it would be much appreciated.

Drill and tap your intake manifold. I've got one for sale if you want an extra to play with

Kill two birds with one stone. Grimspeed's intercooler has a bung machined into the downstream side of the 'cooler.

meh, post IC, pre TB for the performance per dollar

if money is not a price, buy a WELL BALANCED kit that will spray directly down the intake runners (pre TGV). You'll need 4x the nozzles and one-way valves... a well balanced kit, and a lot of plumbing, but hey.

Seriously, just do it in the intercooler outlet like others have said. Mishi used to have a bung there, apparently GS does too. It just makes sense. It may build up SOME spray on the intercooler in this area, but most of the mist will make it through, especially if you have it tuned right.

Oh wow. I recently picked up a grimmspeed TMIC and didn't know that bung was for that!

So then the nozzle would end up near the throttle body.

I have a devil's own progressive kit sitting in my garage from my MINI that I sold. Hmmmmm....decisions, decisions.

I've run meth preturbo (not advised) on a DSM and just post intercooler on the MINI. The boxers have short tubing from IC to intake manifold, but just at the exit is a good place for the nozzle.

Anyone have thought on nozzle placement with a FMIC?

Disregard the TMIC. Supposedly it's easier to tune with four nozzles. A bit thirsty though.

Ok cool. I've been following along with your build for a while. Nice to see the manifold nozzles are working well. Wasn't sure if that was enough "time" for the meth mixture to mix with the air before hitting the cylinders. But with all cylinders getting the same amount, probably is the best way; plus probably helps keep the valves cleaner which is one of my main reasons for wanted WMI.

What size nozzles are you using to spray into all 4 runners? Also, how much more meth does it use up in whatever tank you are running?

TBH, I'm not sure what size they are. I have the Snow Performance 2.5 gallon tank and if I were to guess I go through that tank with a tank of E70.

that's not too bad for a 2.5 gallon while running flex. I am planning to stay on pump since I have my turbo upgraded to so cal v3. I also have the grimmspeed tmic that comes with a bung near the throttle body. Im pretty confident i don't or wont run my car as aggressive as you do to justify a 4 nozzle set up on my intake manifold. lol

Any issues drilling and tapping the stock plastic manifold?

Has anyone attempted to use TGV deletes to mount methanol injectors?

I did,

It was easier to tune and (with my kit) more even distribution to cylinders injecting pre-TB.

More nozzles = more failure points = potential for one or more cylinders to be running less/no meth.

if you don't mind, would you be able to post a pic of your trunk set up? I'm trying to see how different tanks fit into our trunk lay out. The snow performance 2.5 gallon tank is on my list of potential meth tanks for use in the corner recessed area of the trunk.

Do you still use the trunk cover/carpet? Are you using a low level sensor as well?

There's a low level sensor in the tank.
