New engine, old parts... new problems
So I blew up the motor on my 2016 STI and after it was replaced it started throwing a few codes. The latest is C0BB2 and I know it's a Cobb code but the problem is it took about 960 miles to trigger the CEL. I have a few mods and it WAS tuned before I bought it used. No issues before the blow out but now it's one after another. SUBARU did the swap. Any ideas why it took so long to start coding. And the code is for flex fuel and I do have the sensor, but no accessport till tomorrow. Need help it's not making sense. Thanks guys.

They won't touch it now because there are mods on it. Got a Perrin Turbo Inlet, Turbosmart BPV, and Torque Solutions top feed TGV deletes put on yesterday and the accessport installed running great now. The inlet was installed improperly and causing a leak into the turbo. Lots of air bypassing the MAF

Dude you blew up a 2016 sti? Like how? Best of luck man. Is it still under warranty? If Subaru did the swap, and the code came back, it must be one of the mods causing the car to run rich/lean

Why buy so new if your going to mod and throw away the warranty coverage is my question. Subaru wont mess with a car that's modded in my experience here.

When I bought it used it was modded and warranty voided. How you ask? I was doing g 93 in 3rd gear going down an onramp and had it redlined for uuummmm 15 seconds. Lol What threw the code was the E85 sensor. They gave me a one year warranty on the new motor, Long block only.
