This reminds me... does anyone make a SS321 typical EL design header yet?

The design seems to perform consistently well, but everything out there is either the 3-bolt chinese or the Perrin, and they're all SS304 and go cracky cracky due to precipitation hardening when you really push them

Something tells me that the header wouldn't have cracked if it were coated instead of wrapped? Nice job on the passes.

Ty,. Yes when they are set up right they can get the job done.

Maf V is very close to max IIRC. I would go pull a log, but I kinda got an open exhaust VW thing going on.

Not sure how many track passes you've done with the header, but they might have been exposed to extreme heat being wrapped. Are you the original owner of the header? Maybe something to look into with Perrin regarding a replacement.

PERRIN headers - nom nom nom great performance, but yeah wrapping mine did this... mid track run LOL

Mine were 6 months old, PERRIN would no way replace when wrapped, only if coated.... Ill never buy again

OP - if you can get a MAF v at any time PM me, its of particular interest to me as we have similar vehicles, I feel mine is in the '11,s' with a good pilot

Heres what happened to mine. Yeah There is no chance of warranty. Bought them used and abused, then I wrapped them and ran them. Wasnt putting the money into ceramic coating, got my wrap for free from a friend.
I think Either way your screwed... As Concillian said the precipation hardening occurs then its crack city.

I may pull them off and redo them with SS321 this winter if I get bored and havent come up with another solution by then
