We currently have over 4000 kits available for over 450 of the newest vehicles on the road today. RockBlocker kits are made exclusively from 3M ScotchGard 8 mil. Even the leading edge of the hood is wrapped to give you a better finish and just that extra bit of protection.

I've noticed a lot of white cars that have clear bra installed come out with a little yellow residue. Do you know if your clear bra does the same? Anybody w/ a testimonial?

There are a lot of variables to what you are referring to. I will go over some of them that can all or part be a contributing factor to what you are seeing.

1. What brand of film is it. I see some brands of film not 3M that yellow in less than 6 months and we are replacing them for customers.
2. When was it installed. 3M comes out with a new generation of film every couple of years and always improves the clarity of the film. The current one is the best best version to date. The older stuff from say 99 and older was not near as good.
3. Does the person take care of their vehicle and the product. Do they wax often as recommended. Do they remove the dirt, dust and debris like they should with weekly washing and then waxing every so often.
4. Does the vehicle sit in rush hour traffic with diesel trucks all around them or often. The smoke they put off can discolor even the paint.

Remember the front of the car is the most impact, dirt and debris than the rest of the car then the underbody (rocker panels) So the film will look as good as you take care of it.

And if it yellows it is covered under warranty as long as you take care of it. You never wash the product or your vehicle then it probably wont be warrantied.

Hope that helps you out some.

The partial Kit does not include the bumper pieces while the full includes the partial and the bumper. As for aftermarket parts, bulk film can be used to cover those areas for an extra cost.

I'm interested in one of these. I don't see the discount when browsing the catalogue on your site, though. Does it just get applied somewhere in the checkout process or is there a different mechanism for ordering at the sale price?

Er, I wasn't trying to angle for further discount, just wondering if I was doing something wrong; the price on the site didn't seem to be the sale price mentioned above.

But on the site (4:40 pm PDT 03/09), I see:

I'm actually pretty keen to get one. I have that 3M film on my laptop and cellphone and I've been impressed with it.
