Default ..Despite the fact that he may quite possibly be the biggest most flaming douchenoz..

...zle on the boards, and easily takes the SWIC turd nuggetest award.....

Congrats to John 2.5rs for making Modified! Nice to see some subies (let alone a SWIC subie) in a VQ-happy (350z, g35) magazine. Over and over I see 3-4 cars in there followed by a plethora of 350z crap from endlinks writeup to a plastic spacer that half fixes that 3800lb toads intake problems.. It's refreshing to see a nice little writeup on subies.

So as much as you hate John, bite your tongue and congratulate him on not only on making the magazine, but having a SUPER SICK SUBIE that WE ALL wish we could build (no matter who pays for it! ).... And he got to do it TWICE!

But seriously.. Congrats after all the hard work and those late nights at Casino Arizona to help buy more crap for it

John I know you want to toot your own horn... get in here and play us a song

Oh and I know ALOT of you dont meet eye to eye with John but before you start PMing or AIMing me telling me I am a douche for supporting him etc I have one thing to say: Credit given where credit is due.

Who cares if someone's a douche or not, thats a nice car and had to take a nice mountain of money to complete. . . so yeah, pretty cool.

Dont know the guy so i cant comment on his TOOL status, but that stuff happens to lots of people. congrats on the nice car.

I recall you having a thread about cheap strut replacements because you couldnt afford new ones. Dont EVEN take the high road about it not counting because he didnt pay blah blah blah. You would trade your status in a heartbeat to have somone who is well off and pays for your stuff, let alone love you and have your child. On top of that, from what I have seen John really does love and care for his S/O.

Eh you sound like the same people who whine and cry about bands selling out. If you had a hit song and somone offered you money for it you'd sell out just the same.

Let's keep this on track I dont want a flamefest. I started the thread to I can tread on John's ego for a few lines. I dont want this thread locked as he does really deserve the credit no matter WHO paid for it. HE did most all of the work. There is a thread about his car and countless hours he spend cutting sanding wrenching etc. AT LEAST he didnt take that money that wasnt his and PAY a SHOP to do ALL of the work like some of you guys have. He got his hands dirty, now shut it!

Fair enough, i personally appreciate my car more if i pay for it and work on it thats all im saying. and as far as someone to love me and have my child... i got one, she's a poor college student too lol.
I give credit where credit is due, and i did say congrats.
Im a little jealous to be honest who wouldnt be?

Eh you come across as very condescending when you say "oh hes one of those... ghey"..... Congrats or not. Sure we appreciate stuff alot more when we pay for it but none the less no need to deduct from his merit because of his financial status.

yea.. SWIC is sure full of a bunch of emo, hating little babies. At least I would have paid for it.. the only reason you don't like me is because I post things contrary to your little fishbowl beliefs. And am not a PHX cheerleader.. Unfortunately, just because you disagree doesn't man your right or I'm wrong..
Most of the time I comment on SWIC on financial and real estate matters.. that's what I do for a living. I'm pretty sure most of you don't.. get over it already.

GO BACK TO SCIC!

congrats john, i showed up on sat a little late due to work and didnt get to see you, car looks great out there on the track. mine ran like ***** on sunday due to alot of work on the transmission friday and a seal breaking loose and the twindisk clutch that was installed failing the last session going into turn 9... looks like the car will be down for a while while the new motor is built and the transmission problem is diagnosed. ill go pick up the mag today, now if only my RS looked half as good as yours does i could get into a mag... too bad its just a track whore

Congrats John! I know how much work you put into the first car, then into this one. I also know what it takes to COMPLETE a project of that caliber, some people don't know what goes into a self built car like that... I gotta come check that ****er out now that it is done.

szeny,

Damn u! You know what a PITA is is to see what you and the catsup squirter are saying, your both on the Ignore list because all you guy do is blablabla.

I guess thanks for post this up, and thanks too all the Supporters and Haters. Supporters are awesome but the Haters are kinda entertaining too, to say the least.

Unless you know me personally, (Most of you don't), It's really not your place to talk trash. I've piecing this car together for years, the Tail lights are 9 years old, so it's not like I didn't pay for some of it before I came into a lil' bit of money. Me and my Woman have been together happy for 3 years now, and we're getting married next year, so back off about that, unless you wanna get lumped up. The world only owes you what your earn. I highly doubt anyone else could juggle what I have to and stay sane at 27, with a house full of 6 kids, I'm going to back to College (to get an Engineering Degree), repairing the fishing boat in SD, and getting the house in Cali, all while trying to build and race my car. it's not easy. But it's a whole lot of fun!

And Cronic,
You gotta hit me up next week! I wanna check out your new Subi too!
You should come out to the Track day in Nov, I can give you a ride-along.
