im just trying to get the best deal i can get  if he comes up with a good price, ill take that to the one closer to me and see if they can come close to it this is kind of fun lol

EDIT: they gave me a best price of 29045.00 plus fees, whats everyones doc fee? ive got 3 different fees from local dealers one is $245 $495 and $688

i figured they did just wasnt 100% and since i use synthetic in all my vehicles, i wanted to make sure the dealerships offer of free oil changes actually meant something past 10k miles lol

Hmm interesting I might get a pair. Now I understand why everyone says the OEM foglights are just aesthetic. I've gotten a chance to drove in very thick fog over the weekend and the fog lights did not make a different at all. However I was VERY impressed with the low beams on my WRX. It was bright and shoot out good beams in front of the car. Will these xenonmatch/endurance bulbs improve the illumination a bit? or is the problem lie in the design of our fog light projectors?

They do have synthetic oil from factory. Confirmed by my dealers. And all the free oil changes I'm getting from them will be full synthentic oils.

I've never had a pair of stock fog lights that were worth a damn when driving in the fog, the Hoens just look better. I can't stand having two different color whites in the front, that's all. (I'm a scientist and worked on white OLED lighting for a while and trying to match whites almost drove me mad)

I will say I do like the adjustable height HID low beams though. You can lower them so they're just lighting up the road right in front of you, so you get a lot less glare from the fog. Problem is they are pointed down, instead of a true fog light that is low, with a sharp cutoff, and pointed out. So, you get less glare, but you also don't light up much of the road.

I think ultimately what you'd want to do, if you were doing a lot of driving in the fog, is go with an HID fog light retrofit (like this), and point the low beams down and you might be in good shape.

We get a ton of fog in the Bay Area so I'm considering this but it's down on the list after tint, stage 1, and Michelin Super Sports.

in my civic i had retrofit projector fogs and headlights (lexus sc430 headlights, and blazer fogs) and i absolutely loved it. i will probably end up getting my fog lights retrofitted again.

Default order update.

call the dealer today to get an update and my sales person said that the allocation is for feb, and the SDC Von is the only thing they had. also said that it would show up on the dealer vehicle in transit once it is shipped from BOS.

I also called the SOA and gave them my SDC Von number, they found it and gave me the SOA corresponding order number, plus gave me the vin number for my car, but no other info was available except it was built. They also had no idea if it was in The US or Japan.

Hmmm, I didn't think SDC did any type of VON #. What dealer did you order from?

I Order from a local dealer in upstate, ny, and the Von order is basically the order number for SDC. not the same number for SOA.

That's cheap, the places I've asked have wanted 900 and 1500 dollars for document fees.

Ridiculous if you ask me.

Im pretty sure doc processing fees are mandated by state. $1500 is way out of line.

Congrats! Good deal too, close to what I paid on the prev page.

As for Doc fees, all of the dealers here were charging $489 & $599.
