Question Show me some good food in Stony Brook!

Hey guys,

Are there any good restaurants in the Stony Brook area that serves good food and opens late ( at least 10-11pm). I was in the mood for some seafood...

TIA

hey g0...........applebees sucks..........all their food is premade........yuck...

anyway.........hmm......well, everyone knows the best place to eat in LI is on rt 110......East Buffet.........place kicks.......
boulder creek is good too......so is outback steakhouse..that's in the vicinity of SB.
if you like some spanish food..right behind Stony Brook college across from the train station there.....is a place called Green Cactus. It's like a taco bell, but a lot better. The food is cooked fresh right in front of you. The same shopping center has a place called Soups on. A little expensive for soup, but still pretty good. Near there is some indian food called The Curry Club. I've only eaten it once, but it was pretty good I think.

Ooooh... so much to choose from.

I've been to Boulder Creek. It's so much like an Outback. I'm thinking either J&R's Steakhouse or just going to John Harvard's, the old stand-by. John Harvard's has a lot of good beers.

Thanks guys!

pomodorino is pretty good, I have eatin there a few times.
If you want spanish food, and u want to BS subies at the same time, go to Casa Luis.
"lou22" father owns the place and he works there everyday execpt for mondays and sundays. They honestly have some of the best spanish food on the island. Also, Lou has a STI Version 5 engine in his car, and hes always happy to show it off he is in smithtown which isn't way to far from Stony Brook. Do a search on www.bigyellow.com to get info.
Umm, there is a small place next to Burlington Coat factory called Joe's Pizza, they have good food there also, and I think mondays and thursdays its like 7.95 for a salad, coffe, ice cream, and pasta of ur choice. Good stuff. let see... you have friendlys right by the movie theater, Fridays and places like that by the mall.
Dave is right though, if u go to Port Jefferson, there is Alot of places for fish. they also have a really nice italian place...right down at the end of 112. Good food there.
damn man, there is to many places to eat..and they are all good
