![]() Like the title says, bone stock 2015 wrx. Manual trans. Drives completely normal. No codes stored ever. Stalls just about every single time I come to a stop. Restarts immediately and runs fine until I come to a stop again.

![]() Might be a boost/vacuum line has come loose. Disconnect the MAF sensor on the intake and see if it idles better. If it does, check the boost/vacuum lines near the turbo inlet/blow off valve area, and there are some other lines off the intake manifold that can come off.

![]() my 2016 6MT does something similar, has for a couple years. Often when I slow to a stop it nearly stalls, but doesn't quite get there, corrects itself, and I'm fine. Its actually been a lot better (though still occasionally happens) with the Accessport flashed.
Anyway just watching this to see what may be an issue for me. |

![]() Try searching for the thread on cleaning the idle air control valve. Supposedly a common issue and symptoms seen right.

![]() My first thought was possibly a gummed up throttle body. This is my first fa subaru. I've had a million EJs. I figured they would have eliminated the iacv by now and integrated its function into the throttle body like so many manufacturers have done about 10-15 years ago.

![]() Thought I'd post an update. As I suspected, there is no iacv on this motor. However the the throttle body was extremely gummed up. I cleaned the hell out of it and the stalling is completely gone.

ya I know, I had the dealership do something easy. But as a single dad with a full time job and a house, I couldn't find time to do it myself, and I was in for a free oil change anyway. |

![]() Just an FYI, 99% of engines with a digitally controlled throttle body don't have an IAC/ISC. There is no need as the computer can control the throttle body to control air input. Unlike a cable controlled throttle body. Which the computer has no control over.
