Default JeffrWRX's 2016 WRX "Here we go again"

To spare you all a long boring story I will cut to the chase. In Jan 2016 I purchased this 2016 WRX, new from Galpin Subaru in Valencia, making it my 9th Subaru since 2003. I would tell you all this IS the one I will keep, but I know no one would believe me. So with that said, here is my 9th Subaru and my plan to make my ultimate WRX.

PS- Many of my older cars have similar threads if you search my username.

This is going to be fun. I followed your 2013 WRX journal. Looks great, as expected. Which Recaro child seat do you have? I have the performance ride for my 3 year old, but yours looks like it's the next step up.

You know... Every time I see this setup in person it always leaves me impressed. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a car on this forum end up with a laundry list of "JDM" items that doesn't flow AT ALL on the car. No vision. No theme. No sense of flow.

Your car (and the ones that came before this VA platform) always impress. Thank you for sharing Bro!

Peace

i gotta say i was a bit sad when you got rid of the bugeye wagon since it was such a well done/clean example of how a bugeye should be, however i totally love how this new 16' looks. great great choice in wheels.

Yup... It is actually still a toss up

1. GTWORX Bilstein Trophy Cup with RCE Plates, OEM Rear
2. Ohlins Road and Track
3. RCE Tarmac 2 with RCE Plates front, OEM Rear

I am leaning towards the Bilstein since I dont want to deal with adjusting etc and they are inverted monoflex with 400/400 rates out of the box, and just 1799$

The crazy thing is I can find the Ohlins for 2150 on sale from time to time... tough decision.

Thanks!

Galpin was amazing. Seriously. Ask for Mary and tell her Jeff with the White WRX sent you. Everything was done over the phone and when I arrived the car was ready to go out front like a superstar. Very quick and painless with zero drama.

I was going to pay the car off in the first month but since I found out Mary would get a bonus for a buyer having a loan after 90 days I decided to wait the 90 days just because she was that awesome. I paid it off right after the 90

At the time, White was more sought after and other dealers were charging more for them. After going through 13 dealers I found Galpn and paid roughly 26.2k with the STi SS Kit, Homelink, and Extended Armrest.

Hope that helps.

JPM Coachworks

Some updates... sold the ETS, Works, and Teins. Posting the Brembo kit for sale next week. I did have Swifts installed on my OEM dampers and I have to say they are amazing. Firm yet the ride is so much better and the drop is perfect. I also feel that the car handles much better as well.

I will have some updates with other new parts soon.
