So I installed the PROVA mirrors tonight and I’m very please... the plan worked and they are mounted directly in the OEM frames and are secure.

Looks fantastic

Well here’s the new suspension

Racecomp Engineering Tarmac 3’s (KW 3-way Clubsports) 500lbs/500lbs... custom revalved for 400-700lbs spring rates. They are a thing of beauty.

I should have them on this weekend but we’ll see...

Tarmac 3's installed... they are absolutely amazing. Still working out the height and waiting to get an alignment. However, I can say the setup is actually not harsh at all and after a few spirited drives I can tell already that these are next level. Can't wait to test them out more and tweak with settings.

I ended up getting new helpers for the rear, new dust boots, and all black perches.

Your car's underside is cleaner than my car's interior. Way too clean.

+1 Impossibly Clean.

A guy at the track last week asked me if I ever wash my car... haha. The track makes a mess of the car. @Jeff I wish I could keep my car this clean, very nice.

Well... I did it... Pulling the trigger on a 2018 front end with STi fog covers. Ill end up getting an 2018+ STi lip as well.

I'll be selling:

OEM STi Lip
JDM IPF Fogs
Fog wiring kit from Subaru with Bezels
OEM Bumper

Can't wait!

I hope you have better luck with the OLM/SubiSpeed stuff than I did.

Will you be running the STI brake cooling ducts? Do they come with the kit?

Not running any OLM stuff... not a fan.

Its a genuine OEM Subaru bumper prepainted with an OEM grill, and I ordered genuine OEM STi blank fog covers from the suby dealer.

Its going to look like this, minus the STi Badge

From my understanding SS uses OEM covers and paints them in-house. I wasn't expecting them to look blended, but the painted pieces I purchased from SS were pretty off.

Yup, I am familiar with the STI setup. The STI are not blank they have venting that is directed to the front calipers/rotors: https://www.iwsti.com/threads/18-sti...re-sad.298378/

Ohhhh gotch, sorry, misunderstood what you were saying.... from my research they use another company/dealer for paint and all bumpers I have seen or read about match very well. My only other option was to order from Japan parts but that was more money and hassle. Fingers crossed. Its not cheap and painting a bumper correctly is pretty intense so I figure they have to use professionals as they say. I also would rather buy from someone who has painted a bunch of the same colors vs a local shop and having my car in the body shop. If not, I used my credit card so I will flag the purchase.

Not doing ducting yet, but perhaps in the future. I mainly wanted the updated look and to clear out all the unnecessary lights.

The 18+ front end will look great on your WRX, excited to see it! Those Tarmacs look great and is something I'm thinking about doing. Are you getting any clunking or clicking? I read a lot of coilovers making noise, so just wondering how your's a doing. Have you dialed in your ride height yet?

No clicking or clunking on these or my Bilstein setup... properly installed coilovers shouldn’t be overly noisy at all.

I haven’t finished setting them up yet because I’m waiting for another set of Swift Helpers... in order to get the ride height I wanted I had to run the fronts pretty low and so the springs were loose (even with the helpers). The new Swift helpers are the same height uncompressed but 1” lower when compressed so I’ll be able to dial it all in nicely.

Soon!

Wow, that looks great! Any problems with rubbing your front bumper? Is the 18+ front bumper any lower than the 15-17? Can't wait to see the 18+ front end on it. We definitely need some more pics of your ride!

Appreciate it... No issues with rubbing and no issues with scrapping. My driveway has a pretty serious curb and I have found that this is about as low as I can go without ramps for my driveway and at this height I can clear anything I encounter on the road.

I don't think the 2018 bumper is lower but I really won't know until I get it in a few weeks.

I'll get more pics! Still sorting out the helper spring issue on the coilovers. Got some HyperCo Helpers coming in that will hopefully fix it.
