Yes you should it helps a bunch on exhaust bolts. I had a seized DP bolt at 800 miles =\ lol just took off to go back to stock (2,600 mile trip with V2 Q300 no thanks) and they all came off no problem. All jobs where I deal with exhaust bolts I anti seize them going back together

I hope you didn't use one of those community brushes on it's first wash. I like to imagine all of the red necks scrubbing mud off of their boggers. How much crap is still left in the brush?

I always hit those brushes with the high pressure washer for a good couple minutes if I *HAVE* to use them...

Yeah, my paint is probably really bad.

I did some more cleaning today. Wheel cleaner, tire shine, and some spray on cleaner/wax. My car looks shinier than it ever has!

Well, it's just the clear coat. Get a pro to do a acid bath and polish it up.

Yeah, there's a local guy that details a lot of Subaru's. I suppose he'll have to work on it sometime. Not really a priority though. Seems to look OK from a distance, lol.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooo

Please Ben, for my sake do the following:

-Rinse car first, to get all the grime you can off the car without actually using soap.
-Use a microfiber wash mitt with car wash soap to clean up some more grime. If for some reason you encounter grime you cannot remove with the wash mitt, don't dig into it!
-Rinse off the soap and if you're doing a full detail apply a car wax removing spray (I use Griott's Garage Paint Prep).
-Rinse the car off again and dry it. Touch your paint. If it doesn't feel silky smooth then you need to over the paint with clay bar. To clay your car, buy car paint clay and a quick detailer. Spray your car with the quick detailer and go over the sprayed area with the clay. In particular find all those spots with the extra junk that the regular was couldn't remove and try to clay them off. Most stuff should come off this way.
-When your paint feels silky smooth, apply at least 2 coats of wax and/or paint sealant.
-Go to one of the open fields you go to and snap photos of your shiny black paint.

Keep in mind that this is for a full detail. You can go several months with just a simple wash and rinse to maintain the shininess. I detail my car 3 times a year.

If you're going to do anything at all, just make sure to use microfiber wash mitts and drying cloths, lol. Your car deserves to be beautiful and out! No skimping out on ANY details manggg!

I was trying to think of troll sounds. That was the best I could come up with in short order.

It's certainly allowed in your own thread; for whatever reason the NASIOC updates are actually working on my phone today, so you two have been popping up quite often.

Yeah, it's kind of strange how little I care about detailing interior and exterior. I do keep it "clean" in the effect that I got through the car wash all the time to get the major junk off of it, and I keep the interior free of garbage, junk, stains, etc. It still looks like new inside, other than lots of dust and quite a bit of dirt around the floor mats.
