The welds are ridiculous on this thing. I'll have more pics when I get it and install it of course.

Fuel lines, rails and FPR go in on Monday. FMIC comes on Wednesday. Everything (FMIC, BOV, IAT, MAP, Walbro 465) will go in sometime by Saturday.
Going to STIMikey for tuning. Since Mikey comes to Florida often and we can dyno tune it made sense to Phatron that I go with STIMikey. Speed Density here we come. |

How did the install go?
T-bolt clamps? Good! Where is your iat sensor location? Right before the throttle body? |

Install was fine, it was cutting the bumper that was a PITA. I still need to go back and cut a little more. I forced my bumper on and it is pulling out a little on one side. Yes, all T-bolt clamps. THe iat is between the BOV and throttle body but under the pipe so you can't see it. It is about 60* here right now and I'm getting about *65 from the sensor. Tuning has commenced with STIMikey. Just doing cruise logs for now.
Thanks to WRX02FTW for helping with the install. Last edited by jockeygolfs; 03-08-2013 at 01:06 PM. |

Well I have an aquamist HSF-3 kit from when I was using meth. But since I'm on E85 now I have converted it into a sprayer. The bar is a NOS bar. I use straight tap water. It begins to spray as I go into the higher RPMs just like how it would spray meth since it is IDC controlled.

Stencil had to go. It was a little much for me to handle.
Engine bay has been tidied up a little. |

DW300 took a dump while on the Turnpike home. After $125 worth of towing and dinner cost for Themaus for helping me shove the Walbro 465 in I am back up and running.

Can't say Douchewerkz won me over with your pump going out. Here are pics of a Walbro 465 installed in the housing since some posts on NASIOC say its impossible.

And yes, we could have skipped the weather pack connector. Hindsight. Either way it is together. And yes we used heat shrink butt end crimp connectors. If the connectors fail ill be sure to post here to warn others.

Well I had some fuel pump issues. Bad relay. Then I soldered my connections in the fuel tank but they ended up not being good so I had to redo it. I over torqued one of the studs that holds the fuel pump house frame to the fuel tank. I have had leaks through the gasket. Etc etc etc.
Finally back on the road. My Aeromotive FPR is not getting the pressure I should be at. It is peaking at 80 PSI when it should be up to 95 PSI when my base pressure is set at 55 psi. My idle vacuum pressure is -10 psi when I'm shooting for 25 psi at full boost. I purchased a Fuelabs 515 to replace/confirm if I have a leak in my fuel system that is keeping me from getting the pressure or if my Aeromotive FPR is faulty. Fueling has been a real PITA. I'm coming close to giving up and being happy with the power levels I am at. |
