Exclamation HELP! no start, I dont know what else to do.

Please excuse the long write up

I have a japanese ej205 with avcs swapped into my 2004 wrx. Its paired with a V7 sti ecu and has the added wires to have acvs running. Pics

My main problem is that I cant get it to start, it just cranks. Ive gone throught the steps of troubleshooting already. Fuses under the hood and by steering whel were all good, fuel pump primes and im getting proper fuel presure in my lines, brand new spark plugs were put in this week and coil packs were checked with a multimeter to show the proper internal resistance and connectors were checked to makesure that the coil packs are getting 12v with the ignition on. Ive checked my timing and everything seems to be lined up right, heres some pics:

I was also getting a code for the crank position sensor so I changed that and the code went away. Its a 2 wire crank sensor and connector but idk if that matters or not, however I dont know if i have the correct crank sprocket for my engine since I know the usdm ones have a different teeth set that the ecu can read. heres wahat I got (remember this is a jdm engine with a jdm ecu)

I tried taking my spark plug out to see if I was actually getting spark and I didnt see one, but when turning the engine over it will occasionally back fire which tells me something is igniting the fuel (maybe?)

One final piece of info; the car has been sitting since summer, I tried a cold compression test and get 105 on all cylinders except for #3 which was 90. I know that sounds really low but I dont think it would stop the engine from starting (just make it run like a dog). I know that is a big issue but honestly I just want the engine to last me atleast through the winter before I rebuild/swap it.

Any help would be appreciated because I feel like ive tried averything I can think of and i know some of you guys have way more subie knowledge that i do. Thanks

It would be a lot easier for people to see your images if you embedded them into your post using the NASIOC image host.

Pull the coil pack out and watch for spark against a solid ground . And check all of your grounds.

Try starting with your original ECU assuming you have it. Oh, and unplug the MAF. Do you have an Openport or other way to talk to ECU or log?

Take a look at the peaks and valleys of your crank sprocket, make sure none of the teeth are missing.
