the JC Sport kit will not work on any car
BECAUSE IT HAS SUCK!!! however any other GOOD kit will fit on the 2.2 engine. all of the engine are the same physical size and shre most of the same basic parts. pretty much any kit will bolt up. might need spacers depenind on wether or not you have SOHC or DOHC head setups Brad |

ASR I believe was nice enough to say sorry to the people and that they were somewhat at fault..
HOWEVER JCSports decided to give us good ole I club members the :monkey: what a bunch of corn holes. ASR i belive is alos no longer in business JCSprots in in business in CO still and contiunes to rip people off with crappy Cusotmner Service and shotty products. I would reccomend either Shiz kit or possible a Lude Speed or FAT kit. all fo which can be had reasonable price except for vishnu's but you get what you pay for cheers, Brad is independently own3d |

ASR said the kits were ready and then disappeared and NEVER said sorry and still owe people crap (IIRC). I'd gladly give more of my hard earned money to Tom at Ludespeed. great kit, great price and the best customer service i have ever recieved. plus the kit fit a lot nicer than i expected.

JC Sports Shut down 10/1/01 and are gone. Joe even sold his Subie and drives a pickup truck I am told.
Joel and Brian who made parts for JC Sports can still make turbo kits, and are not ripping off anyone. Ludespeed, Forced Air Tech, Vishnu, Minnam (aka tecnik autowerks sp?) make kits to fit your 2.2L as well. Larry |

Turbo Fitment
I had trouble with the Minnam turbokit hitting the firewall. It wasn't exactly designed for a 2.2ltr with an autotranny. The autotranny was the problem and other autotrannied aftermarket turbo owners had experienced the same thing.
I never got it fixed but RalliSpec said all that was needed to be done was for the turbo to be 'rotated'. I sold the kit before getting it 'rotated'. You can actually see where it contaced the firewall during some hard cornering or large bumps. It was annoying! It could never overshadow my enjoyment of the kit as a whole though. Remember.....this was only for a turbokit being used on a 2.2ltr Scooby with an autotranny. The manual tranny owners didn't have this problem. Something about more space available where the turbo is located in a manual trannied Scooby. L8Rs |

I don't see why that is possible unless the auto tranny holds the engine closer to the firewall.. does it pull it back or something?
Brad -JC Sports used to have suck |
