Question Where to get a helmet in the Bergen county/Palisades Area?

Hey Tri-Staters, where can I get a helmet for a good price in the Bergen COunty, Palisades/Nanuet area? I wanna autocross at the Palisades Mall but don't want to borrow a nasty helmet.

We've all pretty much gotten em from Rt23 honda motorcycles. You can get a snell2000 rated helmet for about 150 there.

Try Cycle Center or whatever it's called if your up in that area. Much better service and cooler salespeople. I dig good service. That Honda place, bad service. Won't buy stuff just cuz of that.

Just remember... the guy named Jay in the parts department at Wayne Honda drives a souped up Legacy GT.

You can pick up an Auto-X helmet at the Honda Dealership? (open face)

The honda MOTORCYCLE shop, not the car dealer, but they are close. Its by the big stripmall there. The service guys there were pretty good, particularly the guy Pinochle mentioned.

you should also check the places along rt 46 near teterboro - despite all the rice shops, there's a couple of places that sell serious race gear (seats and so on) that also carry helmets. might be closer to you..

victor - really? all i've seen on rt. 46 are shops that sell chrome deuces and wings that make a car look like a shopping cart.

there's actually only 2, but i dont know the names..

one sells the COMPLETE line of recaro and momo stuff, and along with helmets. It's like 3 doors down from a motorcycle shop on the east bound side after a light.

The other one sells all sorts of rice stuff, but amazingly, also carries helmets.
