Anyone seen this yet?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfwfSzbr5Ac
Read the description in side bar.

I was so mad after I watched this. Then to read that the vehicle owner did not do much to reprimand the parties involved.

Yeah, I was expecting donuts and gear banging. Still not cool though. I do not think they were techs. More like lot attendants.

Maybe I didn't answer your question?
so no boost control = spring will give that as max boost
if hooked to pressure source with boost control (manual or electric) =

This guy isn't being an ass. So there's hope yet. Regardless, I will find a coupe sometime. It's just a matter of when.

I agree we need more of these cars in the area. Apparently theres a BRP 22b body RHD coupe in the area? Anyone know who that is?

What a waste of bandwidth. Get some real science beyond motion turbo boost mapping and it will become readily apparent that there is a very , very good chance that there is microbial life on Mars and Europa. There is a crap load of water on Mars and a ton of life building minerals there. A lot of scientist think the evidence has already been found but kept from the public for various reasons. Think about it though, what would the Israelis and Hamas or the Taliban do if some blue effers landed in times square and yelled. "Hey bozo's yer all wrong. Stop killing each other over that dumb isht !"

I read the first post of that thread. I didn't see anything that was appalling... There are plenty of associations that cater to specific groups of cultures/races.

Here are some that Pitt offers...
African Students Organization
Asian Christian Fellowship
Asian Student Alliance
Black Action Society
Black Dance Workshop
Campus Women's Organization
Caribbean & Latin American Student Association
Chinese Students & Scholars Association
Indian Subcontinent Association (hell yeah mofugga!)
Pitt African Music and Dance Ensemble
Rainbow Student Alliance
Saudi Students House

But there is no Caucasian Students Association... why?

Morgan, those are some sweet pictures! Perfect actually! Who took them?

This probably gets asked a lot, but I figured I'd give it a go. Does anyone happen to have a Tactrix 2.0 that they'd be willing to share? I am wanting to flash my '08 STI to stage 1. I have a laptop with Romraider, and the XPT map, I just need someone with a cable.

I'd be willing to offer a case of beer to anyone that can help out. And not that Bud Light crap, either, a good case of beer, your choice within reason (~$50.) Or I could just give you the money, again, your choice. Thanks in advance, guys.

Yeah, there was a thread on this at a LGT forum I read. The guy was at first real pissed, then backed off. Said his clutch really smelled for a while afterward, but no obvious damage so didn't do anything about it.

One of our techs has a Sedona Red Pearl swapped RS. Has gold BBS' last time I saw it. Can't honestly remember if its a coupe or sedan. Could have been him

Probably was most likely, probably not too many out that way... I couldn't really get a good look at it, it was dark, and kathy was driving (slow) so it was gone and out of my life in a matter of seconds.

SPeaking of, Kathy's parents have just retired and had to return company car, and were looking into a few vehicles including the new foresters, any good deals goign around?

Not if you hook it up right. You will hook it up to the BCS and then the ECU will control the boost. You will need an upgraded BCS because the stocker doesn't flow enough to keep up with the EWG. Here is a pic of how the lines should go:

That way you are using pressure on both the both the top and bottom of the EWG to control the boost. If you hook it up this way you can use any spring pressure you want but the spring will still affect the spool characteristics.
Here is a thread I started when I had questions:
http://wrxmodders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12783
It had some good discussion in it.

Awesome, let me know what you got, they are down to the forester and some honda and, of course the stupid jeeps, that family loves jeeps for some reason. They checked all of them out at the autoshow, and they were very open to the forester though, gotta strike while the iron's hot there. PM me whatever you got. Thanks.

If no other outside force(boost/pretension) is acting on the WG spring then yes you should only see what the spring is set for. Also a lot of EWG and IWG have the ability to set a pretension on the spring, which can increase the mechanical boost as well. A pretty standard rule of thumb; if the WG spring is rated at 8psi then all things being normal you should only see approx. 8psi of boost.

"boost control (manual or electric)"
This is entirely based on your: engine management, tuner, personal preference...

Kjott21 makes a very good point. I am definitely speaking in the most basic set of circumstances. Read through his provided link.

awesome except that i just found out the vband on my uppipe will only fit a 44mm ewg not the new smaller 38 vband ewg. so gotta decide spend the extra $$ for a 44 or alter the uppipe to fit a smaller 38mm ewg. hmmmm wish i knew this before it was all PnP'd. and is that 3port diagram the same if you'd have a 2 port mbc (ex: hallman)?

No. With a MBC you will leave the top port open.
