Just a b18. LS motor. Had bigger plans for the crx (built turbo ls-v) but that motor won't be done for a while, and I kinda want to take it on that drive on the 14th if I'm home. So it will have to do for now. Lol.

Too freakin busy. Got a boost gauge and jdm hvac/faceplate/aftermarket stereo installed. So much easier to get good sound in the Leggy for some strange reason.

On a related note if someone needs a double din plate for 08+ wrx/sti and the 20-pin connector, got one for the price of a diet soda.

I just ordered pads, rotors, ATE brake fluid, Cusco rally rear window vents, and spark plugs.

Looking forward to a 10 minute spark plug replacement...

Slow old man...

Yes, spark plugs aren't fun on the dohc subaru blocks, but i still bet once you've done em you can do it in 1/3-1/2 the time it took you the first time even. I've been thinking i could probably do twin cam suby plugs in under 15min if i didn't take my sweet time for any other reason. Uncle Snotty wanted to call me out on it, but i'm too lazy to video myself doing work...

I put an new air hose On the brz. it removes the stupid resonator tube and such. also put a drop in filter in. now to save up the money for exhaust and a tune. assuming i can find a good tuner. cobb does not appear to be supporting the BRX/FRS

Not sure if i got any noticeable gains. I didnt get to feel the car for to long without the hose. Other people's dyno results only showed 1-3 hp gains. But it supposedly made it have a smoother power delivery.

Ok, so i pitted myself against the clock tonight. Plugs had to come out, and I decided i was finally curious enuf to at least time it.
Verdict? Under 15min? Apparently not. Took me 14min to locate tools, remove junk in the way (airbox/sprayer resv), and pull plugs. 10min on the other end to reinstall everything. 24min total. Closer to ol' man Mert than I thought. Must be losing my touch. On the plus side, i can do a compression test & back to running, in 40min flat.

Lusio can probably school me on any of this. (tho single-cams don't count...)

'course i still can't make an 06 wrx run...
