Default Ignition timing question

I know this is lame and not for power but I'm trying to figure out how to tune in some pops and bangs without having to feather.

Ok so I've disabled fuel cut on overrun and verified fuel cut is not kicking on with the datalog my timing in low load (0.25 g/s) is -7* but when I lift the throttle it only pops like once or twice and on the datalog it shows the timing kick back up to normal. I'm trying to figure out why the timing only goes down to the specified amount in the specified rpm range for a second and then resumes its regular amount while still in the load range and rpm range modified.

If that doesn't make sense let me know how I can clarify as I'm really trying to get this working as I've already been experimenting for a long time with this. Just as a side note this did work once randomly where it was continuing to pop through the whole rpm range without feathering but since it has not continued to work.

Ok so I figured it out I had to tweak the values of 2 other tables to allow for the timing I was trying to apply. (Primary ignition idle (in-gear) B & Primary ignition idle limit (min))
